Don't get me wrong, I see how it fits much better in a midrange or control hunter. I just mean if u drop a 2/3 vs something like zo (the other most popular aggro), this can easily survive a turn early with a 1 drop leper gnome etc. If that happens its a targetable knife juggler essentially. The only removal zoo has that isn't creatures attacking creatures is soulfire.. so if this survives one turn u have complete board control and have just won a game vs a usually 50/50 match up that is popular.
A 2/3 does not simply survive a turn vs Zoo. Flame Imp, Abusive, Dark Iron Dwarf on some trash minion, Zoo can easily trade this little goblin away with little tempo loss. Hell, even Soulfire could be considered if they have a really bad hand.
The card does not help much versus Aggro decks at all, but it's not designed to, it's more for board control and should be backed up with other removal cards and larger minions to protect it. Most of the time you wouldn't play this card on turn 2 either, I see it being more useful later on when you can combo it for efficient trading.
Okay. This is clearly broken. The only downside of this card is "weak" body I'd say, but the ability to control it provides will probably force enemy player to spend at least a spell on that thing. GJ Blizzard, more shitty staff for shamans (windfury + overcharge, please, oh, and random damage, we already have the worst AoE in game for 5 mana we don't even know will it either damage for 2 or for 3) and spread the cancer-class even more. I just don't get it, do they have eyes?
Is Auchenai also broken then?
It can also use the ability from other cards, not only from hero power!
I think it is common for people to be salty about a class due to a previous meta. With the current meta being so strong for Hunters, I can see why some people would be complaining that they are getting a good card. I'd expect very much of the same response if a low cost, good value deathrattle minion were to ever come out.
Don't know if this is op, more likely not, but it's again the friggin hunter that gets new opportunities for new decks and archetypes. This card's interesting - unlike shaman's ones and some others. Wouldn't mind this if others get cards of similar value and potential.
Eh, maybe it deserves a downside. Auchenai does the same thing essentially with priest, just instead transforming the 2 heal into two damage. Then again Auchenai applies to all heals as opposed to just the hero ability. I think this card is fairly balanced, most hunters would just use their hero ability to hit face anyway. If the card had to have a downside, maybe give it the text "Your hero power can only target minions".
If this gets stolen, does it's text get negated, or does the text then apply to the new hero controlling this minion? For example, If I'm playing Warrior, and I steal Steamwheedle Sniper with Mind Control Tech, can I then target minions with Armor Up?

Of course. And you can also Life Tap HP from your minions instead of hero, spawn paladin tokens for enemy and ping minions with the mage through inception deathrattle, e.g. kill Harvest Golem's token before actually killing Harvest Golem itself ;D
You don't have to keep it alive, you just need to use hero power once with it, it gets more value than most other 2 drops.
For example, you can play it on turn 4 and kills a 3/2, and opponent has to deal with it (because this card basically has taunt, because of its treat), it's already 2 for 1.
Originally when I saw Gahzrilla, I could only think two things: How would a hunter live long enough to bring this out and how would it make use of its power without having to combo like crazy on it. This card is pretty much an efficient answer to these questions.

Don't be silly, that's one-class card.
Don't be too hasty to say that. Prophet Velen taken by another class causes the Mage hero power to deal 2 damage, and Warlocks take twice as much damage but still only draw one card, Hunter also deals 4 damage to the enemy hero. I'm guessing this might work with some of them.
I'm really looking forward to Control hunter, but I'm also terrified how inadvertently these cards will effect Aggro/Facehunter.

Still I was right. That just make sense - that's all :)
How does Steamwheedle work if facelessed/thoughtstole? (Give minons 2 armor? Do 2 dmg to a minion, draw a card?) Only works with hunter
That's a little disappointing, life tapping and armor on minions would be very interesting.

Oh no. I always feared what would happen if hunters would be able to aim their hero power...
They would kill you slower?

Why would you even want to target minions? You hardly ever click enemy minions with hunter anyways.
Put your faith in the Lock. *Desideratus Bellum*
It's so Hunters can run a different style of deck more effectively, of course you don't run this card in Aggro decks.
It'll get enough value already even you only hit minion once with hero power. It's a tempo swing card like SI:7 agent.

A litte Auchenai for Hunters... Control Hunter comes closer.

I was looking forward to armoring minions with faceless, they really should have named Steady Shot in the card text.
What...? You can still use the cabal on him.
