Honestly this is one of those cards that I wouldn't be surprised if it was played in some decks. It is expensive but it's super annoying as well. Keep an eye on this card.
Straightforward card, I think with a lot of tempo swing potential. Allows a minion to trade for free and leaves it a taunt afterward. Mana cost makes sense: BoK is 4, add taunt is 1, add divine shield is 1, so all three in one card for 6.
People will be surprised when this card beats them out in mid to late game trading.
So, what's the worst case right? Play this on turn 7 with a 1 mana minion.
Assume the 1 drop is a 1/1. Is a 5/5, Divine Shield and Taunt good at 7 mana? Obviously not really. We already have something similar at 6 mana. Nope, based on this, this is terrible. At 8 mana, with your hero power, is even worse. Sure the card will always have a target late in the game, but then that tells me this is an Arena card.
Sure, on turn 5, having a minion stick in Mech Paladin is easy enough, then on turn 6, do this. But this is so risky and slow. I dont see this as a good enough card.
Making your own Sunwalker still requires another minion on board and has obvious synergy with Reborn minions, but if everyone is playing reborn, then having something left behind will be much harder to do.
This card needed a card draw attached to it I think. Or costs 1 less for every Reborn minion you control or that died this turn. Something to tie it to the theme of the set.
Spikeridged Steed is far more superior and annoying to deal with than this card, this seems "balanced" but it is slow and not worth the deck slot at this stage, maybe a one of but I am not seeing it.

paladin seems to be geared towards low cost swarm minions in next expansion. so this card can turn those small minions into an annoying taunt.
It wont be as good as Spikeridged Steed was due to it not having the deathrattle effect.
There are some dormant paladin archtypes that haven't emerged yet. one of them are
Spell paladin? remember this card Spirit of the Tiger
The sad thing is that the two previous expansions suck as much as this....(in the meantime they also had the courage to nerf it)
oh cool I'll just spend 6 mana to buff my minion and ... Pressure Plate

It's basically Sunwalker with one less stat but a spell. I don't know, even Blessing of Kings doesn't have a home for now (yeah, I'm using it in some sort of Secret Mech hybrid list: https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1277895-ros-the-sunreavers-secrets but that's clearly off-meta) so why would anyone consider this card?
Insert Xzibit meme about Blessing of Kings.
It's great to see all the cards they've printed to help the Paladin Quest. I'm really excited to try it out!
I don't know, it feels a bit too fair. Altough scary in arena format!
You can just play sunwalker instead of making it you know.
