Random combo cards are better than random murlocks then the stats penaulty make sense, remember the 2/3 shaman murlock, a 2 manas minion the opponent must kill in next turn or is game over.
the stats are on the weak-side but this is the type of card that you can play on turn to get some value
The problem is there are maybe 3 (now maybe 4) good combo cards in the game as well. You arent going to run inferior mechanic cards just to get this engine to work.
Random combo cards have a lot more flavor than random cards from random non-rogue classes, please Blizzard stop the burglar theme and make more cards like this one!
Pretty bad imo. There are to many Bad combi cards Like headcrack. Statlibe is a Joke. Maybe in lategame with 10 mana but rogue dont want to go that lategame value. Besides having better value tools.
If you can play this late game with a combo card, it could be decent (akin to playing Underbelly Angler + any old murloc on turn 10), providing you with a lot of cards worth of value for the cost of just 2.
However, the issue - like with Underbelly - is that rogue/murloc shaman doesn't typically want the game to go that long, and would rather finish things off sooner. If you were running this in some sort of combo rogue deck, why not just run miracle? Or the new deathrattles become 1/1 card with Mechathun and Unstable Element.
Provisionally bad. There are no combo cards cheaper than 2 mana combo cards and that means you need to wait till late game to draw something. Also, pool of combo cards includes crap like Cutthroat Buccaneer or Raiding Party in deck with no pirates.
I'd say we need at least two good 1 or 0 costed combo cards for this to work.

Good combo initiator you play this and play a combo card and adds another combo card you will only need this and a combo card at late game.
Looks like fun for sure. But not sure if can be more than that :)
Exept spells are much much cheaper than combo cards. You wont get that much value out of it I think.

I think it is a okay card. Will see some testing and then it will disappear. Combo does not work so well currently.

Could be really great late tech in arena though.
For me this card screams that we will have a legendary quest "play x combo cards".

The Underbelly Angler of Rogue...? I know, definitely not as good, cause you need an extra step to activate combo, but same basic concept.
