I don't think this is a great card, but it is a neutral legendary, with passable stats, with an effect that some deck might find useful here and there.
Control Mage - but casting a second Blizzard is not THAT impressive. I would personally put him in Reno or in Big Hand Mage (Book of Specters).
Even Paladin - I know this will backfire, BUT if you buff your minions and make a trade, you will get a free Blessing of Kings. Avenging Wrath is also good.
Looks sweet. Of course it's extremely weak to combo disruption having very few minions in the deck.
As a side note, decks like this are very straight forward and linear. Draw a bunch of cards and stall your opponent out. The issue, since this is wild, how do you content with other Ice Blocks?
I think this needs some refining, but a good start.

That copy of Violet Illusionist is there for that very reason. After casting Molten Reflection on the second combo turn, my third combo turn vs an opposing Ice Block is illusionist into Research Project. This draws roughly 11-15 cards for my opponent, depending on whether one or two reflections were used prior, and the draw at the start of their turn gets around Ice Block.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that Evasion won't stop this either. On the reflection turn, 2 mana ping to face or a simple swing with Vargoth is enough to stop it from interfering with the kill turn.

Understood. Seeing all those cards get burned is enough to make most people rage quit even if you dont win.

Blizzard is just notoriously inconsistent with their wording. No joke here.
Vargoth + Augmented Elekk + Prep + Academic Espionage.
Vargoth triggers Prep. FML
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
Archmage Vargoth + Power Word: Replicate is a 2 card combo for 17/21 stats.. Oof
I'd like try Archmage Vargoth + Cannon Barrage in a TTK deck.
Also, it will work pretty sweet with Desperate Measures
Annnd, it can create a new Hand / Mill Mage archetype with Research Project.
.
OTK PRIEST !!!
15 or 20 damage becomes Super Easy with Mind Blast
Love this, probably OP.
So will this be undisenchantable ?
What if I want a golden one ? Will I still be stuck with the ugly non-golden one if I craft it golden ?
Imagine using this in a Evolve deck. Oh boiii
Definitely good, but not necessarily worth the deck slot in a lot of decks. I think some people overvalue it's potential.
10/10 - Seems like a fair, balanced legendary with a fun effect.
Oh, Lethal - where did you go? I miss you all the time.
Looking at the list here, I think I could give some examples of the places the legendary would be used in:
Spiteful Priest - if it's alive on the turn, where you cast Free From Amber or Mind Control, it could be really impressive.
Secret Hunter - I could see this being played in that type of deck, in order to multiply Animal Companion, Lesser Emerald Spellstone, Deadly Shot, Unleash the Hounds.
Steal Priest - >:) I could include it in my deck. Casting a second Entomb can be quite nice. Twilight's Call, Thoughtsteal. If I have a lot of Emperor Ticks -> Mind Control.
Mind blast priest - you will cast 2 and the archmage will cast a third one. Shadow Visions is also nice.
Recruit Warrior - Gather Your Party, Heavy Metal!.
Mill Druid - I don't think Nourish would be good, but casting a Naturalize or Branching Paths...
Deck of Wonders mage - Pogchamp.
Kingsbane rogue - weapon buffs, Sap.
Tiger Druid - Oaken Summons, Ferocious Howl.
Burn Mage - but I'm not really impressed. AI, glyph and missiles.
Wild Shudderwock TTK - Far Sight, Lightning Storm, Ancestral Knowledge, Healing Rain.
Quest Mage - Time Warp, draw.
Dragon warrior - Execute, Dragon Roar, Shield Block.
Deathrattle hunter - Play Dead, Feign Death, Nine Lives.
The dream is wrenchcalibu on 4 then archmage vargoth and upgrade on 5
Mind Blast + Mind Blast + a 3rd copy of Mind Blast if possible + this
Any interaction with Dollmaster Dorian ?
no, that's legendary ;)
Just going to leave this here.

On turn 4 it's a 2/6 taunt because if you let it live bad things will happen

When will we receve this card? :)
