It's an ok nerf. It didn't kill the card but made it much slower and susceptible to board clears. I don't think Even Hunter will be a thing in standard (maybe in wild). Despite the availability of Hunter's Mark and Lesser Emerald Spellstone, there's no filtering for deck at all. Spellstone is a power play for the deck but it's strength also comes from its ability to filter the secrets out of the deck with Subject 9 and Masked Contender. Without that, you will be relying on top decks a lot and it will be harder to find the correct cards when you need them. Spell Hunter doesn't use the filter but it has Rhok'delar as a refill for the late game. Topdecking a bunch of secrets in the late game is also pretty bad so i don't see good prospects there though i might be wrong.
Good idea, bad implementation. Only gives them one more turn to play their secrets and still get 12/12 up to 3 times.
I think, they should have changed something else than mana cost. Wolfs stats (2/2), number of required secrets (2 secrets for 1 upgrade) or number of summoned wolfs (maybe 1 / 2 / 3, not 2 / 3 / 4).

IT wouldnt have been as opressive if it was two secrets..aka that would have made sense. Druid/Hunter/Warlock upgrade their spellstoen simply by playing the class lol.
At 6 mana most classes will be able to deal with it, even if it's coined out. Coin+Spellstone was a blow-out play on turn 4 that few besides Priest and Warlock were able to counter. Now splashing secrets into an aggro deck just for the Spellstone won't be worth it.
Should have put it to 2 secrets/tier level, not just one, that's dumb, considering the requirements all the other spellstones have.
And in terms of the overall power level of hunter, yeah, this did nothing.
Rexxar was the card that needed the mana increase, to 8 or 9. Well both cards needed a nerf, I just don't see how from 5-6 really makes a difference. Maybe the first week because eveyone will DE it/stop playing it cus "oh noes a nerf", but those who keep playing it will probably not see a difference. A 6 mana 12/12 is just as crazy as 5.

Well atleast Huntards cant play this one turn 5 then To my side or DK anymore on turn 6, lolz. And no more turn 10 combo with the rhino.

I see this nurf almost as a no nurf. I doubt it will affect current Hunter meta that much. On the contrary it might also create another archetype
Believe in potential; the multiverse blesses some beings with extraordinary traits, with the potential to do—to be—great things.

Deserved
No brainer. Some people have voted no and that is quite confusing. The potential for 18 or 24 stats for 6 mana is still exceptional.
Yap. That is what i said before. This card remains powerful and does not damage Hunters too much. Especialy now that Zul'jin is around.

Fun > Meta
good nerf, but now we need another 5 mana card for hunters
Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
The only reasonable nerf imo

My thoughts exactly. Hunter's Mark is even, now, and the playable heroes are 6 and 10.
Not having weapon or spell removals that are normal in other Hunter decks though...
This nerf has done fuck all.
