I'm pretty sure based on the current precedent set for the conditions under which a card should glow yellow that Dire Frenzy 100% fits those parameters.
Can anyone give any reasons as to why it shouldn't glow yellow when the conditions are met?
I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure Bestial Wrath doesn't turn yellow and it is (if I remember correctly) the only other buff card that cannot be played without a beast in play. Maybe its because they did the same coding stuff? I don't know to be honest. Maybe they just forgot to do it, like how Reno used to not be yellow when his affect was active.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
I think that the yellow glow is only for effects that take place because of a certain condition rather than a target restriction. Minion-only targeting spells don't glow yellow when there is a minion, so why should dire frenzy?
Probably because you can't play the card when the condition is not met. Look at the Princes, they glow yellow when the deck doesn't contain any of the related card costs but you can still play them even if the deck does contain 2/3/4 cost cards.

The yellow glow prevents misplays, so you e.g. don't play Kazakus or Reno if you have duplicates, play dragons who's ability depend on holding another dragon etc. However, you can still play them. You can't play Dire Frenzy if you don't have a beast, so there is no chance to misplay. Thus, there is no need for a yellow marker.
Yeah I kinda figured it out like right after I posted this thread lol. Realized that yellow glow is only for cards that can still be played while not meeting the condition but when they do, they glow yellow. Dire Frenzy is a card that can ONLY be played when the condition is met, and therefore it doesn't glow. My bad.

Don't sweat it. I think we've all tried to see things from the wrong perspective. And that is why we have forums to clear things up. :)
Speaking of Dire Frenzy, does anyone else love this card? :P I'm trying out a bunch of different Hunter decks with it in and they're all fun as heck (although they're weak to Paladin, but then again what isn't)
