Not that bad of a nerf since the effect was the problem not the body.
the silence effect is kinda powerful, but lets be honest, this is worse than both owl and spellbreaker if used for silence and really junky if used for 2 damage, versatility goes out of the window, when the effects arent that powerful for the body you get, overnerfed, just like AoL
Honestly, I'd rather run Spellbreaker now... class cards should be better than neutrals. It's a shame they haven't nerfed all the silences to be on the same power level.
I'm not disappointed the minion only has 2 health now, I'm disappointed that it still has its silence effect and costs exactly the same. No one ever played Keeper of the Grove because it had 4 health. They play it to remove something with the 2 damage or to ruin someone's fun by silencing something. Silence has become even more deadly in Whispers of the Old Gods; Keeper is far from nerfed.
Being -2/-3 off of a 4 drop body is bad. I understand they want to value Silence more, but at present they're costing the choice between a Holy Smite and a Silence at 2/3 worth of stats, which is 2 mana. That seems really harsh, considering this is a class card, which should be slightly above the average power level.
You have to remember that it's also built into one single card, AND it's in the base set, AND you get your choice of either one, AND you can run 2 in your deck instead of 4 of the other cards.

I'd feel better about it if they had increased the damage option to 3, but I do agree that silence in general needs to come at a higher cost than it used to.
Still, I'm gonna miss that sexy 4-health bod.

Ridiculus nerf. Keeper is a card for mostly endgame silence, so its health is not critical, but in aggro heavy meta it is mostly 2 damage and ability to remove 2 more low cost minions. For now it is completely unplayable. As for me I'm going to use 1xSpellbreaker and some other 3-4 cost minion, hope blizzard will add something interesting for druid in this cost range
Lol blizz has no clue at all. Yes it was used in all druid decks but not because it was powerful. But because druid did not have anything better in removal department. Now its better to use Spellbreaker for the same effect with better stats.
Sometimes you don't want silence, Spellbreaker can't hit ANYTHING for 2.

Wow, that's brutal. If Blizzard wanted the silence gone that bad, they should have just cut that part of the card. Now it's basically unplayable.
Comparing to spellbreaker, 2/1 in stats for the option of dealing 2 damage. Its to weak now, time to disenchant the gold one and get the dust.
Makes sense. The flexibility of this card is so insane that a lower stat line is fair. Still pretty crazy to see it that low, but it'll grow on us.

This is still very good, choosing between 2 damage to anything or silence is what makes this card amazing. What doesn't these two options hurt?
$100 bucks says every druid will still run it even after the complaining here. Which proves blizz's point.
Not sure about this one. I like it, but looks like in wild this card will see few play..
This isn't the worst nerf but why not a 2/3 so it needs to be killed by a 2 drop (besides Flame Imp).
I expected an ability nerf not one to the body!
