Ranks 4 -1 has nearly 25% Lackey Rogue, 18% warrior decks, and 13% token Druid decks. So 60% of the decks being played are from 3 classes.
"Valeera rules Hearthstone. No matter what happens to the rest of the classes, that big black bar is going to stick around. Lackey Rogue is dominant and defines the meta like no other deck. "
"Lackey Rogue is the best deck in the game, at every rank and skill level. We don’t think there’s a real argument about that."
"Warrior is clearly a strong class, but its main strength in the current meta comes from its ability to contest Rogues"
"Druid’s fall in play rate at legend was no accident. Its win rate has also drastically fallen as a result of several decks teching against the Druid’s board flooding nature."
"The hard teching against board flooding has also severely impacted Zoo Warlock. ... Now Tier 3"
--> My own 2 cents is that this simply demonstrates how Rogue is going to control the meta until something is done about it.

I agree, Rogue will be nerfed. It's holding back the rest of the meta. My guess is that we'll hear something after champs. Perhaps around when the solo content goes live.
I suspect there will be a total of two nerf patches
The first will hit Rogue and Warrior so they no longer dictate the meta
After that they'll probably have to nerf the decks that previously were held back by those, that being Mech HUnter and Summoner Mage (maybe even token Druid)
Rogue only has two saps, people better start running more than two taunts. Zilliax hardly counts.
From VS-
Control Warrior: 1-2x Hecklebot Conjurer Mage: 2x Sunfury Protector, 2x Rabble Bouncer Bomb Hunter: 2x Bronze Gatekeeper Miracle Priest: 2x Grave Horror Warmage Murloc Shaman: 2x Rain of Toads (6 taunts) Muckmorpher Shaman: 2x Ancestral Healing, Zilliax (matters here b/c of Morpher), Al'Akir Kangor's Mech Paladin: 2x Bronze Gatekeeper, 2x Annoy-o-Module Wall Priest: The entire deck is taunt.
The only decks not running some form of taunt are the very aggressive ones: Zoolock, Secret Hunter, and Token Druid. And even Token Druid runs Mark of the Loa sometimes.
When you're bursting for 15+ damage, 2 Saps are all you need.
The lackeys themselves are just too good in Rogue, especially with how good EVIL Miscreant is, I think it's the primary card to nerf along with Waggle Pick or Raiding Party
Man, hs becomes sadder by the day. I was so optimistic with ros, finally our patience with an torturous stale year would be rewarded! With new cards!Fresh meta and cool archetypes!
Then ros comes and there are 4 tier one decks which 3 of them existed since forever and play exactly the same as before...
You said "hardly anyone is running taunts." That is false. Most decks are running taunt.
TIL: You also can't count. Mage is playing 6 taunts (2 from each sunfury, 2 rabble bouncer) plus any Grave Horrors etc. they get off of Conjurers.
Hilarious.
edit: that was not a constructive response, one second
I do not believe a deck being far out in front this early after an expansion drops is new or reason to call for nerfs. My whole point was that I believe it will just take time and adjustment of decks and strategies in order to shift the meta, not a hard round of immediate nerfs.
There will NEVER be a meta where all classes are equal! It's impossible to do that. A healthy meta is a meta where 3/4 classes are the most played, and that's whats happening now! We have Mage, Druid, Rogue and Warrior seen a lot of play!
I play Mech Paladin (my favourite class) and am running 2 x Bronze Gatekeeper, 2 x Annoy-o-Module, and Zilliax. And I still struggle against Rogues unless I have a good start (and they have a mediocre one.)
Certainly I can kick ass in the right circumstances. But it is not easy.
This honestly makes me think.... Maybe Blizzard R&D doesn't have Rogue players. I cannot remember a time when there wasn't a nerf that was based on a Rogue deck abusing the hell out of it's mechanics. This latest batch of HoF was spawned in part because of Rogue. Quest Rogue was nerfed multiple times.

I tried having fun once. It was awful.
No one is running silence, hardly anyone is running taunts, and only a few decks are running Oozes to tech against Rogues.
hmmmmmmmmm.

Most decks running mechs are playing taunts.
Conjurer mage is running a lot of taunts.
Rogue doesn't need to run Silence because Sap is better.
Must be a new list that VS isn't aware of then.

Rogue and warrior will need nerfs, then we'll see hunter surge almost as fast as midrange hunter did last expansion.
Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.

Control shaman is most frustrating to play against.. I think the meta is fine now, no nerfs

Running taunts (which really don't help too much in my case - taunt availability/quality is low and rogue will chew them up).
But also running 2x, sometimes 3x, weapon removal if that is telling.
Hilarious.

Its just to be expected at this point I guess.
You know they only got this information from the 4,600 people that linked their accounts to provide information. That seems a bit imprecise to me.
And don't call it "Morpher Shaman". It's Muck Shaman bruh.
Check out the win rates on Meta Decks. The "best" decks are floating just above 50%, and there are 5 different classes represented.

Rogues don't need a nerf.
