In the end, I'm happy iwth how the DKs were handled. They presented a powerful idea and really shook things up, and they pushed the game towards that late control mentality that many players wanted.
They showed that a 'Control based meta" isn't the sunshine and roses many people think it would be. The DK decks ARE the final result of such a meta.
They also taught Team 5 about the issues of That One Card in your deck: the card you will win if you get and lose if you don't. Since then, legendaries have been A LOT less overwhelming in power and focused more on being unique and presenting a good twist on a deck.
Besides, Fatigue dying isn't the worst thing in the world. Fatigue isn't a 'final form' of stall decks. TEnd-Game of Fatigue decks is the Mill deck. Combo decks are Starcraft levels of interaction compared to mill decks.
So overall I'm glad they were made and we had them. I'm also glad they are on their way out and that Blizzard clearly won't make anything like them again.
Fantastic actually. The have dominated the meta. When this rotation goes I’m predicting the most diverse meta ever with a really fun few months of people experimenting.
DK cards are leaving KoFT? That's terrible News! Bt i am kinda happy that i didn't craft most of them. I am making a Custom Extension Card Pack called Knights of the Tainted Sea based on Pirates and taking ideas from KoFT and other packs. Too bad if Hero cards are expended bt that's not a major problem to me.
Nevertheless hero cards are here to stay with hagatha zuljin dr boom and future ones. They arent infinite value tho hagatha and dr boom have a hit of it but since hagatha depends on u having minions and dr boom rotating hero button

Hero cards are here to stay. But the ones that act like Frozen throne are specifically NOT. Future cards will act like Hagetha and Boom. Strong, but serving a purpose you may or may not want to have. They support the deck, but they aren't "I got this, I WIN"
Personally infinite value generators have never been a good thing, some hero cards like jaina or rexxar killed fatigue, which was already at deathbed.
Hero cards offering a new way to build decks and/or a win condition through deckbuilding: fine
Hero cards that generate infinite value each turn where you lose only to combo the moment you play them: kinda oppressive in counterplays

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
I be glad to see the dk leave time for something new.

Agreed that Jaina is kinda infinite Value and very hard to defeat if you play mostly control decks.
Good riddance... nuff said.
3 new hero cards are not as broken so they are fine
