I've been surprised one too many times this week by a certain Rogue deck that seems to always run Molten Giants, but when I look for the exact deck, I cannot for the life of me find it.
The deck looks like a normal Miracle Rogue deck, and then BAM, Molten Giants out of left field.
It kind off makes sense. Your weapons are already making you take a bunch of damage, and against aggro the can save you if you have Taunt enablers. However, I don't know if there's enough space in Miracle for that. You only have 3 flex slots after Leeroy nerf, so I can't think of much stuff you could cut to make it consistent enough.
Haha, that's probably me on ladder if you're playing rank ~5 or below right now, I've been messing around with Molten Giants over Edwin/Shade for awhile because those suck vs Hunter.
This sounds like some hardcore anti-hunter tech from the Asia servers. Thanks to their tournament formats (9 decks), they're never afraid to hard-counter stuff at the expense of sacrificing other matchups like the rest of the world. Anyone have the list?
And I thought I'd just calibrated my Violet Teacher miracle right. Doing schoolwork now but I'll try the molten later. Already took out Edwin AND Shades for Earthen Ring Farseers.

Surely The Black Knight is more powerful than Gandalf...
After fighting off YET ANOTHER one, this is from just eyeballing it what the deck could look like. I'm not sure if this is the exact deck, it's just a guess.

I would be shocked if it actually ran 2 X Shadowstep? Seems like it really doesn't fit to me.

The Rogue in question Shadowstepped their Auctioneer. I'm not sure if they run 2, but I know for a fact that they run at least 1.

Wait, I'm confused... You have said multiple times that you see this deck " all over the ladder this week" then you say "the rogue in question" which implies one.

0_o ??
I don't get to see the entirety of this specific deck in question each time I play against it, but I know it's the same deck because they run Moltens + Alex alongside the skeleton of a Miracle deck.
The reason I put Shadowstep into the list, is because one of the Rogues who I matched playing this was running Shadowstep. Like I said before, if I could see the decklist in full, it'd be a lot more helpful, but as is, I'm re-building this deck strictly from what I see playing against it.
This deck is effectively a Frankenstein's Monster since I've never found a complete list and every card I listed is from what I have experienced first hand, with the second Shadowstep being put in solely because I find 1x Shadowstep incredibly odd. Some of these cards may not even be a core part of the deck and put in via the player's personal preference.
Oddly enough, even though they run 2x Molten Giants, I have never seen Argus or Sunfury.
Now with Loatheb instead of 1x card of which I have no idea which it was... going to say a Cold Blood for the hell of it.

It's just a Miracles variant adapted to taking advantage of Hunter and Zoo's aggression and circumvent Loatheb altogether, I've been running this on ladder for awhile, and if you're playing on EU then you're probably playing against me unless other people have picked up the deck.
I don't play Harrison Jones, Edwin Vancleef or Cold Blood in the deck, it should be 2 Azure Drake, 2 Sap and the Shadowsteps are there so you can juggle Alex or Loatheb for multiple turns and keep the opponent from killing you once you've hit ~10 life or just get value off of Farseer, Agent, Drake or reduce the cost of Auctioneer in the mean time.
Basically I made this because I kept having problems with mulliganing away Cold Blood, Sinister Strike, Southsea Deckhand etc. and getting them right back in my starting hand or top decking them, I wanted a kill condition that could actually do something vs aggro and dropping a free 8/8 on Zoo is just incredible if Handlock taught us anything.
You don't play any Taunt givers because you're going to rely on Heal + Shadowstep and Saps to keep you out of burst range and take back the board after dropping Molten Gaints, don't give them the Black Knight target or you'll really regret it.
It's the most consistent Miracles list there is because the kill conditions are actually useful tools outside of the Gadgetzaan Combo or the Kill Turn, unlike Malygos you don't have to wait until T10 to burst down because of the tempo swings at red zone life totals. Main problem is you can't kill them in one turn, but the surprise factor is huge.

It has been done with the full handlock suite of giants. I have seen it run like 1 Molten and 2 Mountain before.

Okay, now they're using Alexstrazsa and Harrison Jones too...
What IS this deck?

Shadowstep makes way more sense with Loatheb
Dude! Watch the massive quoting. It clogs up the thread. If you're only going to write one line, no need to quote. We'll know the context.
