Sure, as long as your favorite "I don't have any creatures to beat you with so I'll steal yours instead" pussy class is disabled as well, I'm all for it.
''Secret pally is beatable''=I found at least a deck that can carry me to rank 5 cause i am noob and i dont want them to nerf it. :P
Seriously though the deck is bullshit,i hope we find a counter soon.Legend player here also. The thing i hate about the deck is that if they draw poorly they lose by them selves,if they draw well they auto win.Scum deck for scum players.Last thing, how the fuck do they have ALWAYS divine favour :P ?
Ramp Druid crushes this deck so hard. Most control decks crush it so hard, you just save a silence or a hard removal spell/transform for the secret turn and clear their early board with AoE. A challenger on an empty board (their side) turn 6, into you polymorphing, hexing, poison seeding, then killing it immediately so avenge and comp spirit don't even proc wins the game. Or play taunts without attacking that turn. Make sure you have a taunt up for turn 6 as well so you can't get hit with repentance on your taunt. If you can get past turn 6 without them having a board you win.
I came here looking to have an interesting conversation about the deck and the card, but 90% of the posts are by whinny bitches who clearly will block out any opinion that is not their own. No point discussing this. Please quit playing the game.
That's such a good solution and it's not like it's rare to happen! You just need to play Control Warrior, have Sylvanas, have an Acolite on the board, armor and a shiled slam (for a bonus). How have we not thought of that yet :D?!
I find it very strange that some people have only played against it once or twice, while other people play against it in over 50% of their matches. I'm rank 3 and secret Paladin variants make up about 40% of my games. It's a beatable deck, but I've found that if they have turn 6 mysterious challenger and turn 7 mysterious challenger then you lose basically 100% of the time, and for some reason that happens almost every game to me.
Well, if you want i will tell you how i beated the last one who played it.
His turn 6, he is going second. His board is cleared, mine has an acolyte of pain and a justicar (im control warrior). He plays the challenger, 5 secrets.
My turn. Acolite attack face->defensor->i draw a card->defensor revives->revenge makes the challenger a 9/8->i kill the defensor using justicar->i drop sylvanas->her health becomes 1->i shield slam it->i get the 9/8->he surrendes
So its totally beatable.
I'm not sure you want use that as an example of beating the deck. Playing challenger against that board would be a bad play, and any deck played by a bad player is going to be beatable.
Just to let you guys know, flare does not work against these paladins. If you run flare, matchmaking will make sure that you never run into an opponent with secrets in their deck. This is a proven fact.

So I am the only one that is beated by this decks only because Divine Favor and not the other stuff?
It's more annoying to look through the whole thread to see how the argument started, when you want to take part in it.
Or at least make Kezan a 1 mana cost and allow me to run 5 of them in a deck? As if Eboladin wasn't bad enough pre-TGT.
Its not that hard to beat... Just learn the deck and play. I beat it all the time =/
There once was a man from Nantucket...

No.
>Play mid-range Hunter with double Flare
>Flare all their Mysterious Challenger secrets
> "The victory is yours.."

Handlock. You're welcome.
i have been able to beat it BY SHEER LUCK ALONE.
lol....
yea disable it
But that required a very particular setup on your half that not every class can do.
