I think the natural switch for Tinkmaster is Big Game, because you already have Aldor/Equality for everything else, you only need a transform to set you right.
The Black Knight: maybe the second Priestess of Elune could go, you'll have to figure out the correct amount of healing by yourself and what you're comfortable with. You may also not need this card, if only for the fact that Tinkmaster will shut down everything Equality/Aldor won't. Tirion: Another great addition, with the inclusion of Tirion, pairs of some cards like Argent Commander or Dark Iron Dwarf may be less necessary for direct damage to chip the opponent down. Avenging Wrath: Difficult to add in another spell, the deck is looking a bit full already, but maybe another Argent Commander or 3 drop can go
Also, you said you had Baron Geddon in another thread, add him in for sure, all burn is welcome! Maybe the inclusion of TBK is something you might want to reconsider.
I am not completely sold on Priestess of Elune but I guess that's because i never see her and her health is a little low. I have also never seen a paladin running Ysera I think, but she would be perfect for late game.
Yeah, Paladins are generally aggro from the normal set of class cards: Consecrate hits the hero, Ashbringer hits hard as well alongside Truesilver, Avenging Wrath usually gets some damage off, all these add up very quick. This means that most Paladins are inclined towards Ragnaros rather than Ysera in my experience.
Priestess of Elune is just there for a heal, but if you're not sold on it, I highly suggest getting some games in with her, the major factor of 5 health is trading with Sylvanas and the 5/5 Devilsaur in some good situations. I wish she had better stats, it would be a great card to include in many decks if only her stats were up to par. They make rush cards have such good value, they're going to need to up the ante on the other side of the playing field now.
Your deck feels like it has one too many singles at first glance, but let me know how it does. Playtest it a bit in casuals, see if a second Avenging Wrath fits into the deck as I don't have a second one to test myself. I never meant for this deck to have extensive use as a competitor in high tier play, but a little tweaking and any deck can get you some good results.
An Eye for an Eye wins are hilarious, to say the least.
Throw it into the Murloc-filled wilderness and see how it does. Please do share results!
I feel the hard part about Paladin and Pyro is that Paladin always has such beefy spells that it's hard to use Pyro early. A cheap 1 mana secret or 2 mana heal will do wonders with Pyromancer + Coin.
Well I just played a mage at rank 5 who was using a combination of spells, Amani Berserker behind Mirror Image and Dark Iron Dwarf, needless to say the healing and Abomination saved me there. I was also hoping to Eye for an Eye his Pyroblast but he didn't have it and surrendered by turn 9 when he couldn't clear my big minions and I had over 20 HP left.
I have played 2 more games but didn't write down all the details. 1 against a Control Warlock who won with a 4 HP Lord Jaraxxus, unfortunately he stuffed a taunt Molten Giant and Infernal in my face. I was able to get him down to 1 HP before he played Lord Jaraxxus, which kinda sucks.
The second game was against a Control Shaman and it was a very long game but in the end I had over 20 HP left and he had lost.
So far this deck is performing decent but I have not played any Rogue, Paladin or Murloc rushers yet.
Any ideas on that deck? I dont have a Baron Geddon but shouldnt 2 Pyros+2Equality+2Consec+2Abos be already enough AoE? (Avenging Wrath as pseudo AoE)
The problem I have is that I don't always draw my AoE cards together and that can result in a problem.
Anyway Baron Geddon is there for 2 reasons, first of all he can clear a board with 2 HP minions and second he forces the enemy to either use hard removal or put up taunts/big minions which I can then remove easier thanks to his extra damage and I might even be able to hit the hero once too.
Remember Equality + Pyro doesn't clear vs a single Blood Imp. How many times people try this on me, no clue, enough to earn me a few wins. Equality puts them to one health, and Blood Imp buffs it up to two.
I honestly do facetank everything, you have more than enough healing and the board is never lost if you hold Equality in your hand and an Abom or Consecrate follow-up or Pyromancer lead will take care of most situations. The problem is finding a way to win or drawing into a horrific hand.
Also, play by plays, eat that information up. I'm surprise it's actually holding its own, as it was actually a joke deck I made on a slow (ehe) day. I guess a deck with strong synergy is just that - and it eats Mages up for sure if only because of the core mechanics of the deck.
So far I haven't been able to make any use of Eye for an Eye, either because there are multiple small minions or they actually understand which secret it is and hit me with a weak minion on purpose. I might switch them both out in favor of a 2nd Avenging Wrath and perhaps Holy Light too as I sometimes lack healing or AoE damage to beat rushers.
I honestly found E4E a great use with Pyromancer early game, are there any other good choices in terms of cheap mana for non-equality clear with Pyro? Maybe the other secrets, like Noble Sacrifice will control early game better. The basic Blood Imp + 3/2 combo will lose out to Pyro + Noble Sac.
On that note, I personally dictate my use with E4E by using my weapon to proc it. Even 4, 5 damage isn't too bad considering your main issue is closing the game. Maybe you can cut it down to one and use Avenging Wrath. But you're saying there's not one game (especially with all the Druid's running around), where you don't find a respectable use for it? I've attacked into Leeroys, Ragnaros, Sylvanas, The Black Knight, Molten Giant, those list of common high-tier cards that many are running. Hell, it ate a Flame Imp + Demonfire once.
I'm all in favor of consistency, so I can see your point. In the bigger picture, if it was for a second Avenging Wrath or <insert better card here>, probably worth it just to sack. I'd want to test just one more secret like Noble Sacrifice or something though.
In the end, if you're looking to deal some decent damage, Leper Gnomes may more or less accomplish the same thing with an actual minion behind it.
I almost dropped down to rank 10 playing and testing other decks, then when I got my 5 wins paladin quest I went back to this deck. I am now rank 5 again on a full win streak. I can say it works quite well, I killed a mage who went into fatigue with 20 health left on myself lol.
EDIT: I mean the deck that I posted on the previous page, not the original.
I am currently running a variant of this deck and I must say it is quite fun to play. I have never played paladin much so it is a good change =)
I did enjoy a 9 game win streak and got to rank 5 for the first time ever but I have now just had a 5 game loss streak against three different rogues...is it normal to struggle against rogues?
I'm not particularly sure about the Rogue match-up using this deck, but I do know two things Rogues do best, it's that they handle Swarm well with a good hand and handle big drops well if they can stabilize after. They don't easily run out of steam in terms of cards, only health.
If you stack up on more direct damage as well as put in more key cards to target their removal (of which they don't have much), you can win out again them. At best, all you're doing is surviving, then burning them down through two Defender of Argus, one Tinkmaster, one The Black Knight. If you can get enough openings by stalling until you have the correct cards to counter the board and stall, the game is yours.
Supposing this might be an issue, you either need more burn in your deck (Avenging Wrath, Tirion), more threats in your deck (Tirion, Rag, Sylvanas), or more clear (Baron, Avenging Wrath, Equality, Pyro). If you're facing those balls-to-the-wall rush Rogue decks, it's just a matter of mulligan-ing more aggressively and hopefully picking up the cards you need to survive with.
I think the natural switch for Tinkmaster is Big Game, because you already have Aldor/Equality for everything else, you only need a transform to set you right.

How about this? I left out The Black Knight since there is already Equality and a lot of strong minions/buffs and the 2nd Avenging Wrath because it is probably not needed but added in Tirion Fordring, Tinkmaster Overspark and Baron Geddon for 1 Argent Commander, 1 Dark Iron Dwarf and Big Game Hunter.
I am not completely sold on Priestess of Elune but I guess that's because i never see her and her health is a little low. I have also never seen a paladin running Ysera I think, but she would be perfect for late game.

I was also hoping to Eye for an Eye his Pyroblast but he didn't have it and surrendered by turn 9 when he couldn't clear my big minions and I had over 20 HP left.
On to the next!
Second game was against a Control Warlock, here is how it went (I went second):
Turn 1: He does nothing -> I do nothing.
Turn 2: Life Tap -> I Coin Harvest Golem.
Turn 3: Life Tap & Ancient Watcher -> I play Aldor Peacekeeper on his Ancient Watcher in case he taunts it.
Turn 4: Life Tap -> I play Truesilver Champion and hit his hero.
Turn 5: Mountain Giant -> I play Abomination.
Turn 6: He hits my Abomination with his Mountain Giant then plays another Ancient Watcher and Defender of Argus in between them -> I kill his Mountain Giant with Aldor Peacekeeper and use Avenging Wrath because he only has 4 HP left overall from Life Tap and my minions + Truesilver Champion, he ended up with 2 HP and all his minions still alive so I was hoping to kill him next turn with Baron Geddon.
Turn 7: He plays Drain Life on my Harvest Golem and drops a Sunfury Protector for his 1st Ancient Watcher then hits my hero with Defender of Argus -> I play Baron Geddon who kills his Defender of Argus as he had 1 HP left from the Abomination.
Turn 8: He plays a Defender of Argus between his Ancient Watcher and Sunfury Protector then uses Soulfire + Sunfury Protector on Baron Geddon -> I play Tirion Fordring.
Turn 9: He copies my Tirion Fordring with a Faceless Manipulator and uses an Ironbeak Owl on him then hits my hero with Defender of Argus -> I play Tinkmaster Overspark and Squirrel his Tirion Fordring then kill him with my silenced Tirion Fordring.
I had 26 HP left and never even healed, Guardian of Kings, Holy Light, Lay on Hands and Priestess of Elune were in my hand the entire time.
I am now at Rank 5 with 4 stars and heading into another game.
Third game was against a Rush Warlock, I lost this one and not once drew a Consecration or Avenging Wrath.
Turn 1: He plays Leper Gnome -> I do nothing.
Turn 2: He plays Voidwalker and uses Abusive Sergeant on his Leper Gnome then hits my hero -> I play Wild Pyromancer & The Coin.
Turn 3: He plays Mortal Coil on my Wild Pyromancer then plays Bluegill Warrior and hits my hero with it and his Voidwalker -> I use Aldor Peacekeeper on Bluegill Warrior ( as he has only 2 cards in his hand and I want a minion up).
Turn 4: He plays a Flame Imp then uses his Voidwalker + Bluegill Warrior on my hero and uses Tinkmaster Overspark on his Bluegill Warrior which becomes a 5/5 Devilsaur -> I play Truesilver Champion to kill his Voidwalker and use my Aldor Peacekeeper to kill Tinkmaster Overspark.
Turn 5: He plays a Blood Imp and uses his Bluegill Warrior, Devilsaur and Flame Imp on my hero -> I play Abomination and kill his Flame Imp with Aldor Peacekeeper then hit his hero with Truesilver Champion to heal a little.
Turn 6: He plays a Voidwalker and does nothing -> I play an Aldor Peacekeeper that I just drew on his Devilsaur, play Earthen Ring Farseer to heal myself and kill his Voidwalker with my Abomination.
Turn 7: He uses his Bluegill Warrior & Blood Imp to kill my Abomination then hits my hero with his Devilsaur and plays Knife Juggler and Blood Imp which kills my Earthen Ring Farseer -> I kill his Knife Juggler with my Aldor Peacekeeper then use Holy Light and Silver Hand Recruit. (at this point my hand has Equality, 2x Eye for an Eye, Lay on Hands and Guardian of Kings.)
Turn 8: He plays another Knife Juggler & a Dire Wolf Alpha then uses his Devilsaur and Blood Imp on my hero -> I play Lay on Hands.
Turn 9: He plays a Flame Imp and uses his Knife Juggler, Blood Imp, Dire Wolf Alpha and Devilsaur on my hero -> I play an Abomination I drew from Lay on Hands + Equality.
Turn 10: He kills my Abomination with Blood Imp and loses his army then plays Leeroy Jenkins with Power Overwhelming and Arcane Golem -> I die.
I think the lack of drawing a Consecration is what did me in there, also his Devilsaur did a lot of damage.
Don't shoot me for posting so much in a row :D
I have played 2 more games but didn't write down all the details. 1 against a Control Warlock who won with a 4 HP Lord Jaraxxus, unfortunately he stuffed a taunt Molten Giant and Infernal in my face. I was able to get him down to 1 HP before he played Lord Jaraxxus, which kinda sucks.

So far there have been no games where I had a real use for it, I don't plan on saving my weapon just for that and I usually play my Wild Pyromancer with Equality/Consecration or Avenging Wrath.
It would be funny to kill a low HP opponent by hitting his own minions but that hasn't happened for me yet since it also relies on having your weapon.

I am running this, perhaps I should drop a couple of legendaries for some early drops. Also should add some defender of argus:
I just got another avenging wrath in a pack (golden too!) so now I use 2x of them and dropped the elven archer
