They can deal with all early threats with peacekeepers and equalities, and I can't seem to outdamage their heals past turn 8, slowly losing board control and my hand. Do they have a weak stage I can aim for?
I'd rather not take deck suggestions because I don't feel it's worth switching decks for just one class.
I know you said you don't want deck suggestions, but you seem to forgone a lot of priest cards in favor of neutral minions. Many of the things that make priests difficult to overcome as a paladin are priest specific. Lightspawn, Lightwell, Divine Spirit & Inner Fire specifically for big buff combos, as well as direct removal spells such as Shadow Word: Pain & Holy Smite.
I play a mean paladin deck thats designed to just outlast and out play you over time. But I find EARLY game aggression really just shut me down. If you're forcing me to use my heals as soon as I can that means
1. I am giving up board control to heal 2. I am desperate to stay alive (don't assume because I am desperate I am weak, I may just be buying time to strike)
If this is the case, end it as soon as possible. Warlock rush down really destroyed me a lot, forcing me to consecrate as early as possible, but usually by turn 4 i was already at -15 life. But now that it is nerfed im finding just removal + rush really giving me trouble.
Another option is to outlast it. Paladins, Priests and Druids are all capable of doing this to great effect. Since I use two on lay on hands, I find myself fatiguing fasting than my opponent, use that to your advantage. Also keep a silence for Tirion, allowing Tirion to do something will cost you greatly.
I am considering dropping my two soul priests in favour of something that has more board presence. Would you recommend lightspawns, or something like dwarves?
Honestly I just feel like no matter what variation of priest u use, if equally skilled + rnged you are going to lose vs a paladin. You're both late game classes and paladin does it better.

Can you elaborate? When turn 10 hits you're stuck using smallfry trying to bait out the mind controls.

But that's the thing. At that stage, priest has exhausted his entire hand and is topdecking, with a MC in hand. The small fries are enough to close out the game for the pally, while if priest MCs a peacekeeper out of desperation, BOOM PUT YOUR FAITH IN THE LIGHT.

A single silence renders all these cards useless. I wouldn't think a second about running any of these.
Faceless Manipulator added to that deck would demolish a paladin. Other than that, you really can't contend as a priest as someone already said, Paladin are late a late game class... so are priests, but Paladins just do it better. I am not trying to shoot the class down, I think it still does very well against mages, hunters, warlocks and other aggro decks but druids and paladins really have the current meta on lock. It's actually funny how the meta shifts. At closed beta launch, it was all end game decks, followed by aggro back to mid range with the rise of the priest. Post Mind Control nerf it went HYPER aggro .. then back towards mid range and now, stuck on the mid-late game decks with that faceroll hunter deck running around sometimes.
Without getting too far off topic, the hardest time most current meta paladin decks will have is versus hyper aggro, and priests just don't do it well.
Edit: DERP just noticed the Faceless Manipulator. I KNOW you said no deck advice.. but 1 Shadow Word: Death is just silly given the current meta. Take a look @ amaz's stream, he runs a pretty successful priest if you want some pointers on play style.
Haha I guess I didn't word properly. When I said no deck suggestions, I meant switching deck to another class or an entirely different playstyle.
Anyways, thanks for the response. I realize my deck is a super mid game deck, and it does wonderfully vs aggros like hunters and warriors. I guess also wanting the late game is being a bit greedy :P
I updated the deck with the current version I'm using.
