Which is best? -Guaranteed Huffer, or a Chance at getting Leokk or Misha instead?
Obviously, the classes define the uses of these cards, and the deck itself chooses the role this card has to play within. Make your decision on your favourite, I'm eager to see what everyone thinks these cards are useful for in comparison to each other!
Polymorph: Boar is certainly sponsored and 100% SMOrc approved.
But those cards play different roles. I love Animal Companion, and I do find myself in situations where I need that Misha or Leokk instead of Huffer (I don't play face).
But I got a feeling that I'll end up hating Polymorph: Boar more than I ever did Huffer, because it'll be a guaranteed SMOrc for an upcoming aggressive Mage deck. I do like that it can be used flexibly though.
Off-topic: also, as someone mentioned during the reveal, wish they renamed Polymorph into Polymorph: Sheep now.
Polymorph: Boar has a lot more versatility. In addition to being able to create a 4/2 charge on your side, it also allows you to eliminate a higher health target from your opponents board. So, it has my vote.
Apples and oranges. 2 different classes, 2 completely different cards. One creates something out of nothing, the other transforms existing creatures for both offensive and defensive purposes.

I think Polymorph: Boar is a very useful and versatile card. It allows you to go face by upgrading a small minion into a 4/2 with charge, sometimes acting as a pseudo-windfury to go for lethal. On the flip side, It's hard removal that's slightly cheaper, but also slightly worse than polymorph, which is still pretty strong. I think a lot of decks that do run polymorph will start to run this instead.
Animal companion serves to create a strong minion on turn 3, or provide a buff / some face damage later on, at the cost of RNG. You can use huffer to kill a minion, but it's damage rather than hard removal, so they're very different cards.
I think the poly is pretty strong. Remember that you can transform a Enemy minion, legendary for example, and kill it quite easy with your buffed heropower from a [card]fallen hero[\card] or [card]garrison commander[\card] and maybe in addition with [card]maiden of the lake[\card] .

Be nice to people? Nope! Turn 7 lethal? Yup!
