I play Chromaggus as a late game option (to counteract the deck's natural tendency to fall off hard; getting one Carnassa's Brood means you get two chances at another one, and another one..... it wins control matchups because you'll never run out of steam)
Stampede is just a hand refiller, and the majority of the 1 drops are beasts so it fits naturally with the combos you can make.
I always keep the quest; and I always complete it at or before turn5, so it's never a toss.
This deck only works atm because all I play is Big Druid and Reno Priests on ladder, meaning I can outtempo Druids early and flood them to oblivion, and I can outvalue priests with my late game card generators and never take my foot off the gas. Hope this helps!
Some Q&A:
If I get Prince Keleseth on Turn2 or in Mulligan, I'm playing it 100%. It's too greedy to wait for the Quest to pop because getting him early on usually guarantees your win regardless-- otherwise it's a bit greedy and unnecessary. How do you use:Also, do you always keep the quest or throw it in certain matchups, like warrior or another aggro decks?
- Prince Keleseth - I like to wait until I have Queen Carnassa, and then play it to get 4/3 Carnassa's Brood.
- Chromaggus and
- Stampede - Do you use it late-game with Carnassa's Brood or you setup like a turn 4 > Play Stampede + 3 beasts?
