Ummm... Current version of secret mage with Yogg and giants seems stronger.
I like the deck, but i'd put Medivh, the Guardian in too.
That would make Glacial Mysteries the new Dr.8
I'd cut 1x[card]Glacial Mysteries[/card] for something that generates value.I think this deck will have trouble winning with all the lifesteal mechanics around.
Glacial mystery is one of the worst epics of the entire expansion .
Any deck that contains such a card can not be good .
2 Arcanologists and 2 Glacial Mysteries sounds very bad. You take secrets out of the deck you need in it to make Glacial Mysteries valuable. 2 Glacial Mysteries is one too many. Let's say you avoid drawing any secrets and only get secrets with the Arcanologists you have two of. The 1st Glacial Mysteries would put 6 secrets into play, the 2nd would put 1 into play. 9 of 30 cards are secrets. 4 of the secrets depend on your opponent to play good minions, otherwise you get crap. I don't see any win condition. First of all I'd either cut Frozen Clone or Mirror Entity since they accomplish nearly the same. If you really want to go all out on the secrets you should put Ice Barrier in because there aren't any cards to clear or stall the opponents board. Also this decks seems to slow for the kind of game it wants to play.
I don't understand the reasoning behind two Glacial Mysteries. The second one hits AT MOST three secrets but will likely miss those due to them being played earlier. 8 mana for 5 secrets is good. 8 mana for 1 or 2, not so much.
The second one is there to hit it more consistently on turn 8.
Yeah but then you have a dead 8 mana card that you're stuck with. You could even be stuck with two of these in your hand from the start. It's not a terrible card, it's just that one is good enough especially considering the chance that your Arcanologists will draw secrets and you naturally will draw them on your beginning of turn draws as well. Secret mage is a faster deck. Anything that costs 8 mana and has the chance to do nothing for you (which will be the case often with the second one) is not worth it.
