Mulligan Guide: Lord Victor Nefarius is no pushover, and will probably take multiple attempts before you kill him. Last week I thought Chromaggus was bad...well, this fight is definitely on par with that one. I think Blackwing Lair contains the most difficult encounters in this Adventure. It's best if you can start putting down some targets right away, so Lost in the Jungle is a good start. It's not a bad idea to go ahead and have an Aldor Peacekeeper or Muster for Battle in your hand at the start too, so you can continue to put little threats out and draw out his removal early on.
When Lord Victor Nefarius transforms into Nefarian at the start of his turn he gains all his mana crystals and will start dumping huge minions right away. If you can't answer his minions and continue to create threats for him he will just overrun you in a matter of turns. In Heroic mode Ragnaros will be able to give you just one card (instead of every turn) and the best one to look for is Son of the Flame.
It is not unusual for him to cast Flamestrike or use several direct damage spells like Tail Swipe or Dragon's Breath just to get rid of your Silver Hand Recruits. If he doesn't kill them right away often times you can get lucky with a Lightfused Stegodon and choose "Poisonous" for all your Recruits and take out all of his big minions.
You should try and take out his Volcanic Drake or Blackwing Corruptor with your Truesilver Champion and save your Attack-reducing cards for everything else that you can't kill directly. If you're able to survive his initial dump of minions you should be able to stabilize and actually start doing some damage to him. Dinosize is a great finisher that he normally can't get rid of and may win you the game on its own.
There were a few expensive cards that I included in this build because they worked really well. Quartermaster and Lay on Hands are pretty important, but you could replace Dinosize with Blessing of Kings and Tirion Fordring with Bog Creeper if you absolutely had to.

I finally managed this one with your help; thank you!
I didn't have Quartermaster and knew they were important to this deck, so wasn't sure I could manage it.
I ended up substituting +1 Sunkeeper Tarim and +1 Blessing of Wisdom for -2 Quartermaster .
Glad to have that boss out of the way! Thanks again. :)
Wow! Great deck. Got it on my first try.
Thanks man! Excellent decklist and guide!! Only took a few tries!
Glad it helped you out!
