Update: New season, new card changes. Ladder have been easy using this deck. Win streaking up the ranks. Give it a try!
Hi,
I'm Danny and is a regular Legend player, hitting Legend every season.
After hitting Legend this season with my C'thun Warrior deck, I decided to try something different.
I have been playing this deck from dumpster rank to Top 200 Legend. My record is currently 13-3 with this deck.
I haven't face any bad match ups but I expect jade druid will be very difficult to win. Luckily, I haven't ran into one as it is not good in the meta.
- update: Dragon warrior is difficult to win against.
The deck does very well against top meta decks such as Rogue, Reno lock and pirate warrior.
If there's enough likes or +
- I'll create a more thorough discussion about playing the deck and against classes.
- Post replays
- Discussion about tech cards
- Video game play or discussion
Thanks for stopping by.
Hey great looking deck, only question.... would you run Reno instead of Refreshment Vendor
Edit: HAHAHA DOWN VOTE ME TO HELL.... Just saw reno
LOL
Hey! Any replay for this? I've built something similar right after MSoG, but didn't have Rhonin and it went really bad. I'm tired of Miracle Rogue (plus've been getting shitty draws in the last 10 games), so I'm quitting ranked for a few days due to hard rage, and I wanted to try something different.
Hi, no video replays as of now since it requires more work with recording and transferring the file online. I usually do it after i hit legend when i have more time. I switched to the Rhonin for the antonidas combo. If you don't have Rhonin, i would play a different version without it and antonidas also. You can also try my previous version.
Here's a few replays I just uploaded. against, pirate warrior, rogue, shaman.

Hey, thx for replying! I have Rhonin now, so it's not an issue. Just had some games that I did really well in, but lost due to stupid mistakes (totally owned a Renolock but forgot, that Ice Block won't stop fatigue dmg, as secrets are active on opponents turn), so it's definitely playable. I will give it a spin :D
Been trying out new cards for this deck since it's a new season and It's been easy breezing up the ranks through a win streak. The deck is more fun now with Rhonin + Antonidas combo as well as all the kazakus spells. Give it a try! :)
Have you even try the deck before initializing your thoughts? If you did, then you'll know this deck excels against aggro. There's a bunch of spells for removal and minions to prolong the game until they run out of threats or until you draw your heals. I haven't lost a single game to pirate warrior, miracle rogue or aggro shaman. Against other control decks, you are playing until fatigue. Not all games are decided by smorc, board control, or burst. There are other win conditions. By the way, what rank are you playing in?
Awnker with the useless comment of the day.
yeah. you should also check out vicious syndicate stats. I feel they are more accurate than tempostorm.
I agree with you that the Legend meta is different from other ranks. Meta tend to change every 5-7 ranks. If you are climbing the ladder, you will prob face more aggro than I encounter at legend. Although i haven't had any issues beating most aggro decks, life coach version have more tools against them. There's always a balance in fitting in the right amount of tools against aggro while still have a chance against other decks such as control. Find one that fits your meta and style.
GL Laddering.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong. God knows I haven't been playing long so I don't know all the intricacies of the game, but I just seem to keep the board clear until fatigue hits. What is the win condition?
control board, out last them, fatigue, burst them with spells if you have. brann kazakus is also a great way to control board and/or win the game. These games are not fast, it's long but you'll be happy with a Win.
This deck is greed in 30 cards. Love it. <3
Dirty Rat is lately used in conjunction with Big Game Hunter .
how crucial is Inkmaster Solia ? First time i see it actually in a deck, everybody say it is bad and not efficient
First time testing her in Reno Mage. It's a good card but not OP and maybe replaceable. I'm usually happy to draw her as her effect is strong with this deck but it's not a good card in opening hand (as well as other high mana cards). To benefit from her effect, you need to play a spell costing 3 mana or more. She is good for regaining board. You can play her with flame strike, blizzard or any kazakus card.
I like her. I think she is a good card, but need to play correctly :)
Do you think adding alex, archmage and dirty rat for the bran and soulcaster (and some other card) wouldn't highly improve the renolock matchup?
Currently, I have a positive win rate over renolock and VS data report shows that reno mage have an edge against them also. Adding additional cards to improve a winnable match up isn't that useful.
There are other reno decks that run archmage and dirty rat, including one I've faced recently on ladder. I'm not sure about Archmage since there's not a lot of little spells for him to activate his effect. He would be good versus other control decks if you have time to save those small spells for him but he definitely doesn't have time against aggressive decks.
