Old Gods Budget Zoo Warlock
Trying to build a competitive Warlock deck on a budget? You're in luck! This Old Gods list is a great deck for new and growing players, and it only takes 600 arcane dust to craft it.
How would you convert this deck to standard? Currently Power Overwhelming, Argent Horserider and Flame Juggler are wild cards.
What would you update in this deck?
I suggest that you replace Succubus with Huge Toad and Wolfrider with Shattered Sun Cleric. Also, cards like Zealous Initiate, Dire Wolf Alpha, Raid Leader, Spawn of N'Zoth, Dark Iron Dwarf and Cult Master can also be considered adding.
What would you replace those cards for in this deck?
This deck completely blows against anybody with good 4-5 drops.
Hi there
I dust all my gold cards to build this deck and at first I whas winning 3 games and then lose after lose.... maby it isint vailble so much now...
as an new player I must write that basic-value-dr-draw-priest is much bether option (I have more wins on it)

Can you write what card to change for the upgrade?
(sorry for my bad eng.)
Hello.
The type of deck you seem to be playing is Control Priest, which is heavily oriented on maintaining board control, and in your case drawing a lot of cards too.
Playing an Aggro deck, like Zoo Warlock, is vastly different than playing a control deck.
As a Zoolock, you'd want to Mulligan for the lowest cards possible (ie; Flame imp, Possessed Villager, Voidwalker), and start putting them on the board. You have spells like Power Overwhelming and Soulfire, so you could trade very efficiently with your low stat minions, buffing them and trading. This could also secure lethal.
The main catch of playing Aggro is what the name suggests; Playing very aggressively. For example: Let's say it is turn 3, and you have an Imp master in hand, as well as Power overwhelming. You play the Imp master and end your turn, and you get a 1/1 imp. Now your opponent has 4 mana, and he played a 4/5 Chillwind yeti. Now you use power overwhelming on the 1/1 Imp and kill the yeti, and play out the rest of your minions, like Knife juggler or Darkshire councilman, for Combos and maintaining a strong board presence.
Since most of your minions have very low HP, Zoolocks are very susceptible to board clears, like Flamestrike or Swipe. So you should think twice before dumping out your whole hand, and bait the Board clear out of your opponent's hand, so you could flood the board again.
You should be aiming for your victory at maximum turn 7. Anything higher than that you will lose card advantage and board presence, because your opponent has very strong, high mana cards. For those purposes, you have cards which are supposed to end the game immediately before that happens, like Doomguard, Soulfire and Power overwhelming.
Good luck playing Hearthstone!
what i can replace to put Leeroy Jenkins?
wolfrider i think
Just got back into Hearthstone last month after being away for about a year. Never really got a good start the first time around and this deck is helping me out a LOT! Up to rank 17 now and hope to get to 15 before end of the month.
Tried 12 games, went 7-5, going from rank 15 to 13, pretty fun deck.
Here's the results class-by-class in case you use that data
Warrior: 4-1
Paladin: 2-0
Hunter: 1-0
Mage: 0-1
Shaman: 0-1
Rogue: 0-2
succubus
This is kinda trash not gonna lie. I've done both of the new adventures, anyone have replacements?
I just beat 2 wings of blackrock mountain, should I swap anything with the upgraded deck?
swap [card]Razorfen Hunter[/card] for [card]Imp Gang Boss [/card]
I was looking for a cheap deck for quest rewards and wound up spending the night going 10-4 with this instead. Very fun deck. Thanks Regis!
Who would have suspected a deck with only two cards that cost more than 3 mana wouldn't be a late game deck? You must make Top 100 Legend every season.
whether it was bad match ups, not understanding the deck or just poor skill i have gone 0-7 with the deck
Just tried this and I drew both Warlords by Turn 3 three games in a row against 2 Control Priests and 1 Control Warrior... Feels bad man.
