Update 16/4/2015: Been running into a lot of big threat minions,Mal'Ganis ragnaros so I decided to sub out Loot Hoarder for a Polymorph
Update 3/4/2015: I've changed Malygos for Archmage Antonidas as im not running into many warriors any more here are the stats from season 13 thus far.
INTRO:
The Freeze Mage deck is all about stalling the game long enough with your spells and Secrets to either Alexstrasza then your damage spells, or just damage spells to the face and win.
9/10 you will be on 1 health with Ice Block and Finish your opponent with your Damage spells.
This Deck relies on A Combination of spells, I refer to this as Your "Win Conditions".
With the add of a new card Emperor Thaurissan this opens up a whole new tier of potential "Win Conditions" For Example If in hand we have Pyroblast x1 -Frostbolt x1 - Ice Lance x2 , If we Play the Emperor the turn before It will reduce the cost of our spells by (1) Allowing us to ultimately deal 21 Damage next turn! As a Freeze Mage we will generally always have a full hand!
Mulligans:
If I have coin I will always play it into a Mad Scientist
Aggro? Try and bait out a few cards then turn 4 Explosive Sheep Combo Play sheepy then ping with your hero power = profit .... sometimes :/
Then you will want Your "Stall Cards"
Stall Cards:
For removal feel free to use a
But I will Always keep Frostbolt x1 andIce Lance x2 as one of our "Win Conditions"
Then During the approach of turn 10 or sooner we can start to prepare our strat, this will depend on your roughly estimating how many turns you will survive for, what "Win Condition Spells" we have in our hand and ultimately figuring out if we have the win. Of course we take into Account Healbots, Lay on Hands and other heals, But there's only so much damage we can Deal until we have no more.
When we are about to go for the win there are heaps of Combos to take the win.
Alexstrasza Combo Example:
into
1x 2x 1x
Malygos + Emperor Thaurissan Combo Example:
Play this card to lower cost of any card in hand!
Malygos reduced to 8 cost with our damage spells will allow us to benefit from its ability straight away which will be a game changer !
add +5 damage to all spells you play We could have a potential 30+ Damage easy ! Look out warriors!!
Before playing Emperor Thaurissan
Take Note the Combo Below is in hand.
into 1x 2x
After playing Emperor Thaurissan
Now on my next turn I was able to Play Malygos for 8 mana Frostbolt for 1 mana and 2x Ice Lance for free for a total damage of 26*
Doomsayer How to's
+ Doomsayer on empty board is fine.
We have a few options when playing Doomsayer firstly we can play on a empty board or even combo with Frost Nova. The beauty of this card is it baits or a removal or silence.
It forces your opponent to try and remove him or delays him playing minions for a turn!
Kezan the snitch!
Kezan Mystic? Yes, this card is a pain in the ass! however I have developed some tactics which is generally 50/50 useful. If we don't Mulligan Mad Scientists and play Secrets by themselves, I will always play a Ice Barrier, Almost all decks withKezan only run one copy.
However After ranking to Innkeeper last season, over that time I've noticed Paladin's, Mage's and Druid's are genrally always running one kezan! the other classes very rare. So when they decided to play Kezan try and give them the Ice Barrier it sounds hard but is very possible!

I will Finish and improve this Guide soon as work is consuming thank you !
thanks for stealing my guide kid
Seems Like a nice deck!
If I only have 1 Doomsayer what do you suggest adding in?
I don't have Malygos and Archmage, what can i replace for'em
I'm sorry, but there's so many misplays in the video.
I dont have malygos or antonidas, can second pyroblast replace them?
I like the Malygos version a lot more. It's mostly because I just like big explosions.
I also like Malygos because he can make the game completely unwinnable for the enemy if you draw correctly.
It's a LOT harder to win from Emperor+Ice Block with malygos burn in hand.
Also, Emperor+Fireball with the three frost cards in hand.
Malygos is like a tech card against control decks that you replace pyroblast with.
Totally agree with both of you, i use Malygos instead of Pyro to get the necessary burst against for example CW
Blatant repost of another guide
Is Control Warrior THAT BAD after Emperor Thaurissan and Malygos? I run Malygos over Pryoblast strictly for Control Warrior, and I have a 30+% so it seems it's way more winnable now than it used to be.
Also, does any body else think Bloodmage Thalnos may have out stayed his welcome, unlike Loot Hoarder it's not a card you can really keep in your mulligans, I rarely use the Spellpower for sweepers and I've been wondering whether or not the extra couple of points of damage (especially -1 from the 2 mana that you could've used to ping) is really worth it.
Bloodmage does a some things in a few but important scenarios.
1) It tips your fireball to 7 damage which is really huge when the opponent played a ragnaros and I also don't like to leave a chrommagus on the board for my opponent.
2) it buffs up your blizzard which may or may not be useful, however it is preffered sometimes.
3) I don't use the +4 damage combo that often, but it's helpful.
So there's my reasoning why I would prefer thalnos over a loot hoarder. I don't generally keep him in my opening hand anyway, except if it's against facehunter.
On to the decklist. So it's the usual Freezemage build with -loot hoarder +flamestrike and the tech card of choice is polymorph. Fine, I also prefer to use malygos instead of pyro, because I feel it makes you stronger against loatheb. All is preference though, but I feel your deck in particular can be weak to a very well timed loatheb.
How come you are playing with explosive sheep in the video when its not even in the decklist?
Some of the card choices are interchangeable, Pyroblast can be Malygos, the 2nd Flame Strike, Polymorph etc. can be either a set of Loot Hoarders or Explosive Sheep, some people like a Cone of Cold for a 5th Freeze effect an other people like Kezan Mystic as a counter to itself.
Nice deck
Does this deck fare well vs Face Hunter? What about Warrior
Poly and pyroblast are both cards that are good against control and poor against agro. You could add 2 sheep and take them out. The 2'nd flamestrike is also often removed for another card. Loothoarder is another card that is often seen instead.
Uhh... the mulligans are in the guide.
