The Avatar has come!

[Updated for Un'Goro] This deck has gone through some major changes since I first made it, the deck itself was inspired by both Wowhobbs and Kripparrian. The deck was originally known as Vol'jin's Pad, which featured Mimirons' Head to summon  V-07-TR-0N.  Honestly, the deck was okay, I did have a good win streak for a little bit but overall the deck fell short. Another reason for the name change from Vol'jin's Pad to Avatar is the fact I no longer run Vol'jin in this deck.

With the update with the new TGT cards, the deck has taken a new push using cards like Holy Champion and Confessor Paletress, using Faceless Manipulator to use your hero power to summon two random legendary cards. I've thought about adding in cards to allow me to use my hero power twice, but I think while cool would be too much needed in the plan to win. Now with the Lyra the Sunshard you get more value from your spells. Using cards like Shadow Visions you can get copies of key spells, etc.

It also uses the Shadowfiend with Chromaggus to get great card draw power. Sunwalker and Boom to control the board and Deathlord to slow them down. Mass Dispell to take care of full boards of nasty and Cho and Nat for some more board control and draw. Then, of course, we have Inner Fire and Divine Spirit to create some monster beat sticks.

How to Play

To play this deck you want to try and get your curve, you want cards like Power Word: Shield, Northshire Cleric and Cho in your opening hands. Deathlord on turn 3 or four, using Shield or Velen's Chosen on him, Holy Champion for added pressure.

You then want to use Kezan Mystic for those Mages, Paladin, and Hunters who uses secrets. I feel that the deck handles those secret heavy decks good enough, if you need to run it, you can switch one in for a Holy Champion. Holy Nova to clear the board to drop Shadowfiend late game. While only costing 3, he is a late game play. You don't want to play him without being able to draw cards that turn this way you're getting the value that turns.

Note that Chromaggus and Shadowfiend do not work, the first card you draw will, but then next one is a copy given to you by Chromaggus not drawn so the first one will be affected by Shadowfiend as you do draw it. Even know I really like Shadowfiend I just found it too slow and really not needed anymore.

With cards like Confessor Patetress I have had some amazing games with her! At the moment I've been floating at the low 20 ranks due to deck testing, etc, however, I've had some rather good games.
