Once again, aggro match-ups have been very dominate on the ladder lately, especially face hunters that are being played non-stop on the ladder. It is insane because I have been playing against hunter 15 games out of 20, so I thought to myself, why not just build a deck to grind huntards?
On a serious note, I built this deck for an aggro-orientated meta, so if anyone of you feel like the ladder are filled with aggro match-ups, this deck does wonders against them. This deck is also good against the control match-ups, but they can go either way. What I mean is that if you use your removals aimlessly without removing the control match-up's big threats, then you are pretty much going to lose the game.
This deck was inspired by Hakai's Nitrodin and took his concept of a tempo paladin deck. I felt the deck had a great concept and had the potential of becoming a great ladder deck, and with a few adjustments, I came up with this deck.
How Do I Play This Deck?
Like any paladin deck, we try to keep the board in control and slowly whittle them down until they lose. That is pretty much it. We look for value trades and not to waste our resources when we do not need to.
GAMEPLAY VIDEO AND DECK TECH
Notable Cards
I fell in love with this card when I played it in shockadin. I think this card is just too good in a paladin deck. The reason why I say that is because its literally a two for one and keeps us from wasting our resources. Lets say there is a Huffer on the board and removing it with Hammer of Wrath other than consecrate is a lot more efficient since you can save consecrate for a bigger swarm. Also gives us a card draw too. ;)
This card is very similar to Hammer of Wrath since it gives us tempo, but this one gives us a 3/3 body instead, which is still very nice.
Some people might ask why run this card. This card is used for clutch healing and due to its low cost, you have more room to play cards on the turn its played. This card can potentially get you out of lethal range from druid's combo and rogue's combo. This can also save you from the aggro match-ups as well.
How come no Seal of Light ?
The reason why is that this card heals less. If you are just using it for healing alone, then it is not worth it because this card gives you the incentive to trade with a creature.
How come no Quartermaster ?
Quartermaster is a tempo breaker because you always have to wait for silverhand recruits to spawn up on the board to combo with it or wait for Muster for Battle. With that said, if you draw into it, it will potentially be a dead card. Imo, this card is terrible against the aggro match-ups but really good against the control match-ups, but since we have such good late game creatures already, I believe this card is not needed. You can sub out Faceless Manipulator for this card if you want.
STATS
I only recorded this many games for quick stats, but as you can see this deck does really well against aggro match-ups and can go either way against control match-ups.
MULLIGAN
Aggro: Antique Healbot, Hammer of Wrath, Coghammer or Truesilver (only need one weapon not both), consecration, muster for battle and shielded minibot.
Control: Equality, consecration, muster for battle, shielded minibot, truesilver, coghammer, loatheb and hammer of wrath.

Feel free to tweak the deck to your liking, since this deck isn't perfect! :)
Low win rate against Druids?
Wait. There aren't any belchers. Is that a valid strategy?
Love it, Pally is my favorite deck. Thanks for a fresh spin!
Great deck bro, its just amazing see double Tirion and enemy concede :D
First of all, looks like a nice deck. Already voted + without trying it on ladder.
But I think the guide is very incomplete as it stands now. How do we play versus anything other than hunters? I can already guess how I can play versus hunters with a deck designed to counter hunters. The problem is the other matchups. I think much more explenation is needed. At least some quick strategy tips could be useful.
Also -a personal question here- What cards would you run instead of Troggzor? I don't have him, and it doesn't look of central importance to the deck's strategy. For example, do you think Alextrasza could be useful in that slot? With maybe one less healing card as well as it can also act as heal versus rush, but also as burst versus other control? I mean -1xTroggzor -1xHoly Light + Alexstrazsa + Another anti control card? (or a card versus tempo decks, as I see you can definitely have a better winrate versus druids)
Loving this deck, really a lot of fun, and glad I finally found a paladin deck I enjoy again (was never really a fan of the quartermaster /muster combo)
I don't have Troggzor the Earthinator though so put in a Foe Reaper 4000 I like it cause of the stats, but haven't really seen the ability in action much, but it does seem to scare people from dumping a lot of minions so perhaps in that manner it has been helpfull. Wish I could see my opponents hand to find out ^__~
Great deck, have being playing it yesterday and it feels great. Have won most of my Druid matchups, which i found surprising, and killed 3 Priests in horrible long matches with fatigue damage. Hunters just concede if i get a good draw, lost to only one because i didnt draw heals in time.
Now, Mech-mages, are they owning me.... Do u have any tips? They frostbolt anything i bring early game, and by the time i can consecrate, it will kill maybe 1 or 2 of his 5 minions. By turn 5 it doesnt even matter if i heal, game is lost. Maybe i just got perfectly drawing opponents in all my matchups, since it wasnt that many games really, and i won only one of them. Do you have good winrate against them?
Thank u very much for the decklist!
I have played three games with this deck at rank 11. Lost all three to aggro decks. I don't klnow if I am playing this wrong or what.
I have now lost 6 matches in a row I am down from almost rank 10 to rank 12. IDK whats going on.
72 min, 32 turns game with hunt, what is that?!?! ))
As said below, it was a glitch.
No.. I've done really well against oil rogues.. troggzor is crazy against them.. almost comical
Hunters all day, then I find this deck, and I get 3 rogues and a mech mage. Lost to everything. Is this deck weak against rogue like woah?
Rogues are known to be a hard match-up for paladins, but I do not get entirely wrecked by them. The match-up to me is more like 50/50 or 60/40 to our favor just because we can heal out of lethal range and also having troggzor is a plus.
I'm really liking this deck! I decided to try it since I've been facing nothing but face hunters as well. The funny thing is, the first 4 matches weren't hunters, but all control! LOL I still won 3-4, so good job and TY!
Yeah I had that problem as well and I also thought he was underwhelming, so I have tried out Ragnaros instead or even a piloted sky golem and it ended up being a lot better. Still requires testing though!
Alright, so how in the name of god did you manage to play 72 (!) minutes on ranked against a hunter?
Either this deck tracker is bugged or you are not being honest :X
Definitely is a glitch and if I was dishonest, I wouldn't go through the trouble making a video as well :)
How come no Zombie Chow ?
I don't need zombie chow because there is really no need to. I last long enough against aggro match-ups to use my antique heal bots and holy light, while also having enough board clear.
