Hey guys, I'm Diamantis, a Greek F2P hearthstone player and this is my first guide. I've been playing hearthstone for almost 4 years and I've never felt the need to share any deck of mine, but this deck is way too broken not to share!
- So, I want to begin with this: Bearshark is an absolute monster. It's the reason I have over over 75% winrate versus Hunters and if you throw a Houndmaster on it on turn 4 there's almost nothing that can deal with it. Think about it:
1) You can't flaking strike it.
2) If you play it against a druid they can't spellstone, naturalize or wrath it.
3) Warlocks have to burn Aoe in order to deal with it.
- People might think you are crazy if you are not running master's call but guess what: you are not. Think about that:
You are playing against a midrange hunter with the usual engine of master's call, dire frenzy, highmane etc. On turn three they will either animal companion or master's call. If they play Master's Call. You throw a bearshark on them and then a houndmaster. What can they play to deal with it? Flaking strike ? No. A poisonous Lynx adapted by razormaw? Yeah, but that's too optimistic. Most people's reaction when they see houndmaster instead of master's call is why? But these are the same people that lose to it because Houndmaster on Bearshark is an absolute beast in this meta.
- The perfect mulligan looks like this:
- Diremole
- Crackling Razormaw
- Bearshark
- Houndmaster
Also you can cut the Bittertide Hydra for a Tundra Rhino but I personally think the second Tundra is way too slow and you don't need it most of the time. Hydra is a huge body and since there's not too much odd paladin in this meta you'll rarely get punished.
I hope you guys enjoyed my guide. Feel free to try out this cheap deck and please leave your positive or negative feedback. Have fun!
Also make sure to watch Kiwiinbacon's video featuring my deck:
*Aggressive Variant*
I made some changes to this deck to make it slightly more aggressive and its really payed off for me.
-1 flanking Strike
-1 Baited Arrow
-1 Deathstalker Rexxar
-1 Bitter Hydra
-1 Tundra Rhino
=
+2 argent commander
+1 Arcane shot
+2 Stonetusk Boar
Reasoning for Boar is it helps to have a higher shot of turn 1 drop beast to hit razormaw with and having charge it can be played on the same turn later in the match.
i've won a number of games pulling Boar + kill command = 6 dmg for 4 mana
this is more of a all or nothing variant, which dominates all hunter mirrors and does amazing vs rogue but can run out of steam faster to control matchups without rexxar. (play the boar with care don't just toss it away, determining when to hold or play the boar takes some practice).
EDIT* thanks @diamantisGR for sharing this deck
Lmfao yea no, a 1 mana 1/1 charge is not going to improve ANY matchup
lol ok your loss, with the 1/1 wolfs and lorik its often a 3/1 for 1 mana to face also. you probably never enjoyed the old penguin decks either, i hope to find you on ladder ;)
I don't Trust You =p
haha fair
Well, I am using your method and I can agree on the boar, it does work. It does take some practise to play the boar right etc. :)
And also, it works quite well with some of the buffs. So for 1 mana and charge, it can be quite useful!
Thanks for the positive feedback guys, appreciate it😊
Stop create frickn sht hunter decks !! Rise Of The Shadows : I have some tricks to destroy them !
Do not take personally :)
Great deck, i like this kind of decks, but in 2/3 weeks the deck will lose to many cards, we have to see if its playable in that time.
33 isn't top 30 :p
It is stupid how this deck is too strong.... thanks mate ! hahahaha but I really want this cancer to go in wild
Etsi diamanth krata thn ellhnikh paradosh psila sto hunter
Effective and simple hunter deck. I had an easy time against almost every deck until I ran into this insane Big Deathrattle Rogue that produced a board with 6 Lich Kings on turn 7.. I decided to try something like that out and it gave me a 93% win rate at rank 7! I decided to share the deck on hearthpwn, would be great if more people experience the fun. http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1241801-metacrusher-big-deathrattle-rogue-93-wr-insanely
Doesn’t this deck kind of just reinforce the “draw curve or lose” factor of Hunter? Personally I like the meta Midrange for its ability to come back from being behind. Do you cover stats? I see you boasting a decent win rate, but over how many games? Trying to determine if this is just high roll or not. Also it’s not too different from popular “b” “c” versions of Midrange. It definitely looks like it counters the standard Hunter, but what happens when the other hunter is also playing on curve?
That was my experience running the deck. The only times I won we're when I drew curve. Lost ranking from when I was playing a more standard mid-range Hunter. I'm not the best player, though, so I'm sure that's a factor.
Amazing Deck !!!
I'm climbing very fast in rank ladders
Thanks alot :3
So How are you supposed to play this for the rest of the game? If you dont draw the perfect mulligan? anytime someone stalls into long game (even though i'm aggro) i'm out. and Im playing at 17?
If you’re opponent isn’t dead by turn 7-8, then you likely aren’t playing the deck correctly. Go face whenever you can until you can “Kill Command” or “Leeroy” or “Bittertide” into lethal. If he really is still alive, then you just have to Deathstalker Rexxar him and hope for the best.
This is a horrible explanation for newer players or players that don't use the Hunter class as often. RNG out the perfect hand by turn 7-8 you stupid noob? What if Kill Command, Leeroy, or bittertide aren't turn 5-8 draws? It is pretty likely since you run zero draw in this deck that you don't see Leeroy or Bittertide and you likely see maybe 1 copy of Kill Command. After seeing your comment I'm definite in my previous comment that this is just a greedy, non-optimized Midrange Hunter. Any deck that needs perfect curve to succeed is really not a deck worth looking into. This person probably got lucky at a random rank, and then decided it was better because they rolled high multiple games over a small period of time.
Seriously thinking about quitting hearthstone, got 1-6 with this amazing deck at level 15!. Playing a year, watching vids, steams, learning cards... This must be a serious mental problem, not a bad luck (althoug never had cracking, dire mole, or bearshark at mulligan) Anyway, great deck, man, thumbs up
