I tried to make this deck as budget as I could. Of course the two Star Aligners cost a bit but you get one free on November 2nd so why not try having some fun with it!
The general strategy has been updated! Please see below:
Try to ramp up your mana as quickly as possible with Wild Growth and Nourish. Also try to draw Spreading Plague and Strongshell Scavenger as soon as possible using cards such as Ferocious Howl, Wrath, Nourish and Starfire all while staying alive. In the meantime, with the amount of Aggro decks out there, your opponent should have a sizeable board for you to use Spreading Plague and Strongshell Scavenger when you have 10 mana. Your Scarab Beetles should now have 3 attack and 7 health each. After your opponent tries to clear them you should hopefully have at least two Scarab Beetles left untouched. This is where you drop Star Aligner and deal 7 damage to your opponent's minions and hero. Just in case your Scarab Beetles aren't left untouched and you don't have a couple left over at full 7 health, I've included Fungal Enchanter to provide them with the necessary healing.
Alternative strategies involve using Mechanical Whelp and Lesser Jasper Spellstone to create a 7/7 Mechanical Dragon which you can clone with Gloop Sprayer. You can also use Gloop Sprayer to clone a buffed 3/7 Scarab Beetle, and then drop Star Aligner the next turn. Again Fungal Enchanter can heal them if they get damaged before dropping Star Aligner.
Just in case you only have one 3/7 Scarab Beetle left after your opponent's onslaught, I've included Barkskin and Shieldbearer. Using Barkskin + Shieldbearer and only one 3/7 Scarab Beetle left on the board (or some other 7 health minion) allows you to drop Star Aligner in a single turn, thus leaving your opponent seeing stars. :)
I also included Youthful Brewmaster so that you can return Star Aligner to your hand and then use him again hopefully if your 7 health minions are still on the board.
Another key interaction is Barkskin + Gloop Sprayer. Basically Barkskin makes Gloop Sprayer another 7 health minion that Star Aligner can make use of!
With this deck being so budgeted down, there are of course a lot of improvements that you can make. Hopefully this deck proves to a good fun deck for the beginner.
Check out these amazing videos showcasing the original deck by kiwiinbacon and Tommy_Wave below. I've placed my latest update in video format below as well.

Amazing!
Have you considered including [Witching Hour], since [Oasis Snapjaw] is the only beast in the deck, and with 7 health to boot? Could make for a 10-mana combo if you've already got a 7 health on board.
Unfortunately in this deck Witching Hour will not work as expected because it might bring back a Scarab Beetle instead :)
Good thought though. :)
Ah yes! Forgot about those bugs.
Is there a non budget version of this?
You could put in Carnivorous Cube and Naturalize, since the Cube is a great way to multiply 7-health minions.
Zilliax is a good all-round card and has synergy with mechs and Scavenger in this deck.
You could replace Youthful Brewmaster with Zola the Gorgon, since it leaves the Star Aligner on the board, making it easier to get off another round. But I'm not sure you need multiple rounds of aligned stars: usually you are already winning if you can get the combo off once.
You can look at Chump's Devilsaur Star Aligner Druid for inspiration. It is built around very different packages though: Oaken Summons is not compatible with Strongshell Scavenger and Witching Hour doesn't work well with Spreading Plague, so don't just copy cards without thinking it through.
Here is my non-budget version of this deck. I warn you... its not cheap :) However I was able to do 14 damage with it in one turn on my first try :)

Oh and thanks for reminding me about Zola the Gorgon! Nice tip!
no luck with it. shame seems fun if could go off
Check out the videos posted by kiwiinbacon and Tommy_Wave. It really does work ... of course these guys have mad skills so that might be a part of it as well :)
Of course its meant to be a template or starting point for even better decks that will undoubtedly cost more dust. This deck was really meant for beginners to have some fun with.
I had my doubts, but this deck actually has some legs! We managed to pull off a couple of wins, check them out;

Such a fun list, thank you for sharing!
Man this is a very good starting base for Star Aligner Druid! the strategy is straight forward and the deck is quite strong. I feel like putting in cubes and florists might help the deck overall but this is quite awesome!
I made a video showcasing this sweet budget deck, I really hope you enjoy.
Wow! Thanks man! Really appreciate it! I always watch your videos on youtube! You come up with some pretty great decks yourself! :)
Problem is, the big combo is so hard to get that by the time you have all the cards needed, you are already nicked down to 10 health or less with a board full of opposing minions.
Included update above which should make it even easier to satisfy Star Aligner's battlecry conditions.
Also just in case you only have one 3/7 Scarab Beetle left after your opponent's onslaught, I've included Innervate. Using Innervate when you have 10 mana, and only one 3/7 Scarab Beetle left on the board (or some other 7 health minion) allows you to drop Star Aligner and Oasis Snapjaw in a single turn, thus leaving your opponent seeing stars. :)
Can you post non-budget star alligner druid?
Would like to see the non budget version as well.
Definitely! I'll work on it. :)
Here is my non-budget version of this deck. I warn you... it's not cheap :) It works though as was able to deal 14 damage in a single turn with it on my first try :)
