Hello Guys. I'm Guto, an amateur player (more a collector) from Brazil.
I play HS since 2015 and for the first time, I achieve LEGEND AT LAST.
After a rush of 11/0 (I lose in the final boss), I got the LEGEND CARD BACK with 14/2. Here's the proof!!!
If you guys give some upvotes I can write a basic guide and try to record some videos.
WOW, thanks a lot of guys for your support. I didn't expect to be on the front page of hearthpwn (sorry for the english, it's not my primary language).Soon as I can (I'm traveling for work) I will write the card choices (I know, the basis is almost the same as other odd rogues) and possibles replaces.
CARD CHOICES
Argent Squire,Dire Mole and Fire Fly - All these cards are some of the best drop ones of the game. Stay alert if you have some combo cards in your hand, these drop ones can be the combo activator.
Argent Squire is very good target for your Cold Blood. in the start of the game if you need rush some opponents like Druids and other control matchups.
Keep one of them in your muligan (at last one). With or without the coin.
Southsea Deckhand - I do not recommend them as muligan, but if you don't have any of the others above, keep it. Nice combo activators and + Cold Blood finish/removal.
Hench-Clan Thug - Simple the best drop 3 for this archetype. Put they soon as you can. Just watch out to use your weapon to apply the buff.
Blink Fox, Vicious Fledgling and SI:7 Agent - The first is a solid drop 3, but not essential. The second can be a monstrosity if you can leave on the board (a lot of wins ;), try to buff with Cold Blood or with Fungalmancer. The third can be very good against other aggro decks. They will help to battle for the board (before I forget, against aggro fight for the board with all that you have =D).
Vilespine Slayer - Hard to say how many times this card gives me the lethal, saves my skin, and a lot of other things. Hard to replace but, you can try Assassinate. On a replace scale (1 easier and 3 more difficult), I would give 3.
Baku the Mooneater, Leeroy Jenkins and Fungalmancer - Well, the first, keep avoid with all of your efforts ;) (but of course its the core of our archetype). The 2nd it's one of our finishers, avoid to keep it in the starter hand. Good combos with Cold Blood (in rare occasions you will need to use to removal). The 3rd, is a simple buff card to the board, use it wisely.
THE TECHS
Captain Greenskin - Well, I can say this card is actually not so important at all. But he always helps me to finish or fight for the board. I think you really have to give a chance. If you combo your weapon with Deadly Poison, you can make at best case, a 7/3 weapon (or something more modest). More of time it wasn't a dead card in my hand. In our replace scale, I give him a 1.
Void Ripper - Man, this card is Insane. Of course, like the other techs, his is not essential. But, in the worst case, he is a solid drop 3 for your board. Just playing to see this beauty to see his true valor. He shines a lot against control matchups but you can also use against aggro to make favorable trades. Replace scale, I give him a 2.
Plague Scientist - At last, but not least, our scientist is just another removal. Keep in your hand if you have a combo activator against a control deck. It will save your life many times. Replace scale, I give him a 1.
REPLACES?
I will try to respond to any of your doubts. Try to make the changes to feet your style. I say this because everybody has your own style to play. Me, for example, I love to trade (I promise, aggro style it's not my favorite).
One thing I would like to explain its why I don't use Edwin VanCleef. Maybe I Don't know how to use him, but most of the cases, I didn't get the value of it. I prefer to use the combos with Vilespine Slayer.
VIDEOS or STREAM
I will try but I cannot promise yet =(
BOOMSDAY PROJECT UPDATES
Let's see what will come. I will come back to update and discuss with you guys =D
I need to thanks Tommy Wave, for this awesome job (but he use VanCleef :p)
(Games start at 4:52)

As a final message: EVERYONE can be LEGEND, just don't give up =D
Lol looks like that you've never played these decks to say it's brainless.
Ahhh yes....another "legend" with a brainless aggro deck. Such skill. So wow. So pro. 360 no scope. Amaze!
found the fatigue warrior
I will credit your awesome job! Thanks again =D
Spiteful Smith, Stranglethorn Tiger, Tanglefur Mystic, a second Cobalt Scalebane or another 3 drop. (Deathspeaker is good, as is Tar Creeper)
Congratulations on front page of Hearthpwn Mes Amigo. Hopefully I will join you in the illustrious "front pagers" club one day. ha ha.
EDIT: ah you're Brazilian? so speak Portuguese, sorry for that. ha ha.
Wait a minute... Are you Brazilian too?
Thanks for all the efforts to make this list more known.
No, I am from UK. I just seen in another comment.
No problem. Love odd rogue. I am playing a slightly different one at the minute. Someone gave me the idea of using corridor creepers in it so I'm trying that. They could be pretty cool if you get them in hand early, free combo activator plus large health pool. Cann be buffed with the shroom guy, then flipped with the void guy to have a huge attack. It definitely has potential.
I like the poison dude in this list though, it's great for fighting even warlock. I might have to work one of those into mine as well.
congrats on first time legend my man!
Congratulations on hitting legend! I also recently hit legend with Odd Rogue and figured it would be a perfect time to test your build out and look at some of the differences in the archetype. Check out the games;
(Games start at 4:52)
Love the tech choices! Thanks for the list!
awesome dude. shout out's for the work you do making video guides for people to help prop up the guides on here.
Woww man. Thanks a lot for the video.
I will update soon as I can with the card guide, starter hand (muligan), and of course, with your gameplay =D
Add me to talk and play some matches ;)
Thanks mate! Really appreciate the support <3
Thank you so much for the deck! Looking forward to seeing the rest of the guide!
Noob/Filty Casual here... Can I ask why the Void Ripper around 9:07 in your video - and dropping both 1 drops instead of keeping a cheap vilespine combo? -- Void Drop made the small flame elem an easy hero power kill for mage
Or if she pinged Argent and cone of cold
Mostly the potential for higher value targets, but I think both lines of play are fine!
To counter the end is coming and spreading plague with fan of knives which i replaced one with blink fox since its good against paladins although I havent seen that many lately also this deck doesnt have card draws so
I put him for being a very good card against druids that were bothering me hehe. Since then, He has been consistent even in other matchups.
Like the other pal said. Fan of Knives can be a good options over a Blink Fox
I was thinking of adding fan of knives to mine as well.. I had faced a few odd rogues with heal zoo and they wreck your early board state with that card. 2 of them might even be worth it if you face enough aggro. I think a second ripper might be overkill, but I have seen people running 2 of them in lists as well.
Void Ripper is a star player in this archetype right now for multiple reasons. It can help clear the board in 2 ways. reducing the health of minions and giving you extra damage. It counters anything with zero attack so it wrecks on Shamans and anyone using Doomsayers. It's great VS. spreading plague as well.
You can change it out, but it's one of the best tech cards right now for the archetype IMO. you might want to look into deathspeakers as well and also a tar creeper can help vs aggro decks, forcing them to trade into it (especially good vs zoo)
