Glass Knight replacements???
Lay on Hands and Lesser Pearl Spellstone should have great synergy together. However, LPS doesn't upgrade when you draw it from a LoH. Unlike Druids drawing Lesser Jasper Spellstone off of Ultimate Infestation, which will always upgrade it. This is an inconsistency I hope to see fixed someday, but until then I have to agree that LoH is simply too slow and weak to warrant here.
Kinda like Tirion Fordring and Val'anyr, where what you would like to happen is: When Tirion dies, you equip Val first, then Ashbringer, to continue your chain and potentially gain a huge tempo swing. Instead, Ashbringer pops first, then gets destroyed by Val, which is a huge loss in value and means you have to use Val for 2 more turns again. This is something else I wish they'd change, but until then the two don't belong in the same deck imo.
It works as intended, the effects work in order they are written on the cards. At LoH, first you heal, THEN you draw, at UI, you draw, THEN gain armor. It sucks in situation like this, but if you have 1 hp, and you have 2 cards left in your deck, LoH doesnt kill you.
Wow you're totally right. i didnt even think about the specfic wording on the card dictating the order of operations as it were. Ty for pointing that out.
Doesn't change much for my opinion of it in this deck, just the the outlook that it ever gets "fixed" is much worse. Since its not broken, just poorly worded (unless you value drawing into fatigue).
I just made a deck where I put them all together as well. 10-5 so far. Your deck was an inspiration for sure, so thanks and sorry for negativity.
I have been trying to make a similar deck work and I really like this list but I agree with a few others that double Lay on Hands might be too much. I think Harrison Jones may be a good substitute since there are a lot of weapons around and can give you cheaper draws than Lay on Hands would.
Garbage.
Lose to piece of shit decks and lose to tier decks. This spellstone is pointless.
Oh, and with 0 card draw you end up with a hand full of shit.
Deck is fun and has a lot of potential. I have been looking for a non-gimmick deck with Uther of the Ebon Blade for a while. I think this could use some tinkering though, perhaps some card draw?
Also, Lynessa Sunsorrow doesn't seem to have a role here at all, unless I am missing something. And that's after I put in a Sound the Bells!. Although I may just be saying that since I don't have Val'anyr, unfortunately.
I love the idea of the deck but i would love a muligan guide and a strategi plan for the deck :)
This deck is really fun - with some tweaks might be viable.
- 1 Lay on Hands
+1 Sound the Bells!
Two Lay on Hands is too much draw you will often already have plenty of cards with Stonehill and Hydrologist. I would pass on Tarim as alternative as you can get him from Stonehill. Instead I added Sound the Bells! which helps synergize with Lynessa and is pretty versatile. Alternatively, Lynessa might not be good at all due to silence.
2 lay of hands is really really bad. Just put one in.
Maybe second chain gang instead of Lay of Hands
chillbane ftw
an entirely different deck
While the health gain is really nice, you're often drawing too much and not accomplishing a lot. 8 mana is very slow and if you're that late into the game, you'll find yourself closer to fatigue than before and would have pretty much done nothing the whole turn
sound the bells would be better. 2 lay of hands is to much card draw.
I've played a similar deck for quite a while now and played around with some changes here and there. Going for more early options i feel is more suitable, and with Primalfin you can also get some extra value + a sick Lynessa for lategame. Some cards worth considering is: Mistress of Mixtures, Divine Strength and Primalfin Champion. I've also tried to put in Meanstreet Marshal together with Dirty Rat and 1xCall to Arms which i suppose is fine, but at that point you'll have stuff you need to put away, that you probably don't want to.
Oh, didn't payed attention to what cards went out of rotation. However Sound the Bells! might be a good enough replacement for Divine Strength since Primalfin Champion still is available.
any freeze mage > this meme deck
Won a couple games with this, but a lot of the time you get stuck with dead hands.
