April 2016 Card Nerf
It was announced on April 20th, 2016 that Arcane Golem would receive a nerf.
- No longer has Charge.
- Health increased to 4, up from 2.

We’re addressing both issues by removing Charge and increasing Arcane Golem’s Health, while leaving its drawback. They changed its effect text into "Change this minion into 100 dust"
no one should play this . . . its its like shit now, with charge it was understandable but its just giving the enemy a free crystal for doing nothing, aka it is a bad card now not even worth having in your collection
its a discrete buff to the new mage card that summons a 3 minion.
Can't stop laughing about this kind of clock :D

10 mana, 27 damage rogue combo: Arcane Golem +Cold Blood x2 + Shadowstepx2+Sinister Strike+Eviscerate
after doing arcane golem with cold blood you call it back with shadowstep and attack again twice, which will cost 1 mana each time, this adds up to 20 damage for 7 mana. eviscerate+sinister strike adds 7 more. if u had assasin's blade already equipped its most likely an otk at 30 damage. im sure you can make it better with Preparation but im new to this game and can't get that right now :(
I had some trouble figuring out how to properly use Arcane Golem in the Face Hunter meta. If anyone else is struggling with that as well, I got some good advice in this thread: When Should I Play Arcane Golem?
10 mana 24 damage combo: Faceless Manipulator + Power Overwhelming x2 + Arcane Golem . Let the hilarity ensue.

A quick note of this card is that it does not give any beneficial effect to your opponent if used when the opponent already has 10 mana, and thus becomes a very good card when at 10 mana.
But you in decks where you use it you usually want to finish before 10th turn.
what is not represented in the stats above is miracle rogue decks where this can replace leeroy. Costing only 3 allows you to combo it with shadow step, cold blood shenanigans.
I feel this card needs one more health, dies/ countered way to easily for it's drawback.
