This is good like real good!
3 mana 2/2 draw a card is flawless
You're right, but why is it that people keep saying this? Yes, removal exists, and it will always exist, this card doesn't change that, but it doesn't hurt it either. Those cards are in classic so they will always be a thing (unless sent to the hall of fame) and any card is vulnerable to removal.
Great. This is the card what this game needs. Specific card draws always good. You're always playing a divine shielded card in your deck. You can build a deck around this card. Or you can fit this card any kind of Paladin deck. If you want to play a divine shielded guy, you probably wanna play this card too.
Now I can draw my Argent Squire from my deck with this Howling Commander!!!
Or play Silvermoon Guardian for the same mana cost, then you merge the 2/2 and 1/1 divine shield to one amazing body!
I really don't see how a specific tutor can't find it's way into a deck. Even if it just reads "draw tirion/burnbristle" you're going to want that in your deck. Why do you think people run stonehill defender?
People only considering stats and not practicality. This card is actually practical for once. Everyone seems to have bigger hype for the cards that turn out terrible because they require too much setup or situations where they can be good.
Drawing cards is always good for every deck. This is a great card for control paladin and absolutely superb for arena. It will be used in some decks for sure.
Drawing Tirion is the only good aspect this could have.
And it has to be seen if playing a 2/2 for 3 mana is worth that.
Otherwíse just take Arcanologist. It is conditional draw, that works in every good Mage deck basically and has better stats for less cost. wow.
Then there is Acolyte of Pain. similarly costs three and gives you 4 stats. One will draw mostly 1 (rarely 0), the other will mostly draw 1-2 (rarely more). What do i rather put in my deck?
Dovahkiin, Dovahkiin, naal ok zin los vahriin,
Wah dein vokul mahfaeraak ahst vaal!
Ahrk fin norok paal graan fod nust hon zindro zaan,
Dovahkiin, fah hin kogaan mu draal!
(for those that didn't get the reference it's the song of the dragonborn)
FOR THE WOLFSONG!
It's warsong. The card is called warsong commander too.
Agreed, while you're playing a 3 mana 2/2, aggro decks are kicking your teeth in. You're better off playing Stonehill Defender to get an extra Tirion/ Tarim/Wickerflame.
After playing Arcanologist a thousand times Im pretty sure that conditional draw isn't worse than the normal draw.
Howling commander : Nah, Imma chill with Tyrone at the bottom of the deck
Man, they really are bringing Skyrim to all platforms!
This is good!
Tyrion get over here!!
In all seriousness, this card can draw you Tirion Fordring and Wickerflame Burnbristle
FUS RO DAHHHHH
