This must be the joke legendary of the set.
wisp + taldaram on 3
are you guys really this dumb? or cant even read cards anymore?
faceless says " CHOOSE a minion and become a copy of it", the minion has to be on the board in order for faceless to work (copy).
Prince taldaram says "transform into a 3/3 copy of a minion" it doesn't say that you have choose a minion already on the board as a target like faceless manipulator says. I don't know how it'll work but I'm pretty sure this is not a 3 drop faceless.
there's no "friendly" part in faceless either. I hope that I'm not wrong about this, otherwise, and if you guys are right, this is probably the worst legendary ever existed.
Firstly, your comment is extremely rude, second yes, one is ''choose a minion'', the other ''transform into a minion'', neither states specifically choose a minion from the board, thus we have no way to know if it can target other minions from your hand, deck or wherever, we can only assume the possibility as i did in my comment above. But Faceless Manipulator does not specify that you have to choose a minion from the board, thus in the same sense this may quite possibly just target minions on the board in the same fashion, we'll need further clarification from Blizzard.
I'd kindly ask that you put away your condensed hate when commenting and properly read cards before rushing to try and make a spiteful comment just to be able to insult people.
Judging from comments here, most people do not seem to be thinking of the Hemet, Jungle Hunter, synergy yet when giving their first impressions of the new Prince cards. It was one of the first things I thought of, too, though, Darkmsth.
I don't get it. Faceless Manipulator
Thinking it a bit, this is an awesome card for egg decks, since you will always have an egg around the board that your opponent doesn't want to kill. So you may copy the egg and set its atack and health to 3, which is very good for 3 mana.
so in the 3 mana slot you may put x1 or x2 Devilsaur Egg and Prince Taldaram, and always wait to play the egg first, and then the prince.
Unfortunately, such a deck wouldn't work because of the inconsistency. If you need to draw two specific cards out of 30 in order to be able to play another specific card, I'm afraid the odds are too low for it to be good.
Don't understand the downvotes tho, but we will see. I won't call it useless atm.
these cards are gonna prove how important 2/3 mana cards are...no reason to cut three mana cards for this. Love the design, and someone will make the deck, but this one isnt feeling it for me. What it might see play in is paladin if they cut aldor bcuz this in control pally is actually really nice, well see though
Why this slag is legendary?
Okay this may seem bad, but a 2 mana discounted Faceless Manipulator is actually huge, even if the downside does warp your deck. If this gets any additional support from this expansion, I would bet on seeing some sort of combo deck including this be competitive. And even if none of that happens, still a cool card I will have fun messing around with
you see that it is not as good as Faceless Manipulator don't you?It keeps as a 3/3 so it is way worse
For Velen the best combo is a Emperor on him, mirage caller and 2 mind blasts.
And hey Ragers is are great cards, hope there's a new one this set XD.
Guys, everyone is evaluating this card wrong. You DON'T NEED to build a deck without 3 drops to make it work, you just need to have no 3 mana cards when you use it.
All combo decks usually cycle almost all of the cards before they unleash the combo (Velen Priest, Maly decks, Exodia), so think about this as an alternative card for use in combo decks when you are near fatigue (almost guaranteed no more 3 card in the deck).
Quest Exodia Mage, for example: You might want to have another Sorcerer's Apprentice (in case you run just 1 molten reflection or had to use one), or even Archamage Antonidas (you can use him on the extra turn, in case you don't have 4 Sorcerer's Apprentice), and Quest Mage only unleash the combo when they are near fatigue (and all 3 mana cards are usually drawn first, the secrets trought Arcanologist for example), so this can be a good addition to it.
Yes but it's aggro meta time, and you don't have time to draw your entire deck... You'll be dead faster than you think.
I agree, I probably won't play it, and also don't think it's a Tier 1 or Must have/auto include card, I'm just trying to show people another view on the card. It may has its uses on specific decks.
