Mike Donais Senior game designer at Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed this "It does not count those temporary mana crystals" (talking about innervate here)

This card only works with actual real mana, not that fake stuff.
Hope people will realize this before trying it out...
Yeap. Next turn druid plays Feral Rage and gg
I'm not sure if I understand this card. If I have 10 mana and I play this card, do I destroy 7 mana crystals and make 7 of those Mana Treant or do I destroy only the 5 manna crystals used by the card and have 5 Mana Treant. Either way I'm not sure if it's good?
7
Doesn't matter if your mana crystals are empty or not, 5 mana is the cost of the spell and it can destroy empty ones also. So it would be wise to spend 2 mana first on turn 7+, otherwise you will destroy 2 full crystals.
Playing this on turn 5 and then playing Mark of the Lotus + nothing on turn 6 is technically curving out perfectly.
Guys is something I just noticed! his card has serious advantages with Innervate. The Coin and Baron Rivendare..
But it also has drawbacks, and it is strong to counter with: Potion of Madness, Mass Dispel and so on.... I'm sure every card of Un'Goro produces a strategy!
BTW if Druid loses Mana Crystals you always have yet.. Innervate, The Coin, Wild Growth, Astral Communion, Mire Keeper, Jade Blossom, Excess Mana, Keeper of the Grove.. and so on.....
Druid does not need to be afraid to risk his Mana!!
It's not druid not afraid to risk his mana tho.Druid need those card cause druid win condition is to out ramp your opponent anyway..
This card is really good in early game with Innervate and The Coin. However, in late game it's a bit risky and doesn't compensate its cost.
No, it doesn't work like that.
I guess Blizzard gets their idea from this MTG card, whereas if u play Ambush Commander in MTG and opponent has AOE, u basically lost all mana and lose the game
Except you get the mana back in hearthstone so you don't lose the game. Unless Devolve happens, but then you keep the minions and can potentially smorc and still win.
Would have been nice if they'd made the tokens a higher cost so that they don't just get fucked by Devolve, a Shaman card that every deck already techs one of.
I will run this with Innervate and Savage roar; If my opponent avoids removing them, I will be able to him/her with 22 damage to the face.
Not sure you can survive a hearthstone game by skipping your turn tho.Not trading with it means you have 1 mana to play next turn which will get you rekt
Opens up a new interesting archetype for token druid, with some minor token openings and a Pilfered Power on turn 3 this can very quickly get out of hand. Not sure if thats a good thing
How about the other way around to ramp? Turn all of your mana into 2/2 minions with Living Mana, and then, if you have 3 mana to spare, get your lost mana crystals back immediately with Pilfered Power. Then when the 2/2 minions die, you get additional mana right there. Presto -- rampalicious!
Hrm, I suppose you'd need Coin-Innervate before Pilfered Power to do this in one turn.... Nvm card is trash (Presto -- trash)!
