I like how the designers practically tell you that this is a terrible card.
Also, how overstated 1-cost minions like Mana Wyrm are.
Agreed, it would be fair if it costs 2 times more.
It's doing great right now in Rogue.
Mana Addict is better for Miracle Rouge. This card is unplayable.
You're forgetting the value of 6 health. Mana addict can get aoe blasted away. Red Mana Wyrm survives into their darkest nightmares.
Has double stats of mana wyrm? Well, would be only logical if this was a 2 drop
In my last play, that was exactly my situation. I manage to get two of this and the auctioneer on board, with my rogue, and gave them stealth. In the next turn, I won the game. This card is amazing, much faster than any other card to buff and much harder to remove than other options.

Hmmmm I don't think mages will use his card. Rogues will I'm sure, they can stealth and buff it for nothing, but even cheap mage spells you'd want to save for the next turn and who's gonna let this live 1 turn? If they did mages can skyrocket it's power fast and then hit face hard.
You dont want to play a naked Red Mana Wyrm at turn 5 against Priest. Just dont.
wow, after all of those red mana hints this is the only thing that actually references it, aside from art.
Oh yeah... 6 health 5 drop play with broken effect. Have fun losing at turn6-7 rogue after they play conceal on it. Really resembles me arcane giant as how you can say this card will be broken just from a single glance.
Mana Addict + Conceal was barely ever used...... So I doubt this will happen
Lackluster, as it's not immediately affecting board state (you're just putting a minion on the board for your opponent to deal with next turn). Will probably not see constructed play except in Miracle Rogue. Not even tempo mage wants this card. Too high of a mana cost to do nothing to the board. Would always run a Conjurer instead of this as my 5 drop

This thing really should be a Dragon. But anyways, it's still not that bad of a card in some decks. Miracle Rogue can send this thing's attack skyrocketing, all the while being incredibly hard to remove, and any deck that optimizes thing this to its true potential isn't gonna have to worry about "Let me change your mind." It's not the best card, but definitely playable.
*clears thoat* ... MANA WORMS ARE NOT DRAGONS.
In WoW they can be tamed by Hunters and Hunters cannot tame dragons.
