Why does rogue get fucked so hard every single set? so fucking mad at hs
This is a good card.
Tempo loss, too slow, too low stated, and a non-proactive effect/card in a tempo oriented class that has zero late game survivability options. Your definition of a good card is amusing.
The tempo of this card comes from the stealth and the deathrattle. Sticky minions have a pretty good track record in Hearthstone for being good cards. If you play this on t2, then Unearthed Raptor it t3, your opponent is going to have a tough time removing them both, and the cards they have to use on them is going to gain you Tempo in the long run. I don't actually think you've put any real thought into this card at all, or the Jade Golem mechanic for that matter. A 2 mana 2/2 is fairly stated, so the fact that it can be a 2 mana 3/3 or a 4/4 makes me question why you think its low stated...it isn't just a Possessed Villager with stealth, and in a deck with this card in it you're playing coldbloods and abusive sergeants, so you're likely going to use him to trade the turn after you play it.
The Jade Golem mechanic is irrelevant in this instance. Jade Idol is a powerful archetype defining card; this card is absolute garbage and will see zero relevant play.
I don't think you put any thought into this card. It's a 2m Villager, stealth on this minion is almost irrelevant outside of Raptor synergy. On it's second effect (which is a Deathrattle) it's literally a worse Defiant Ringleader. On top of this card being bad, it's lack of strength is also compounded by Jade Shuriken being on the weaker side.
Yes, when the stars align, a perfectly curved out Jade Raptor Rogue deck can perform well. However, decks don't work under best-case scenarios.
Im loving my Jade Rogue right now. Its so good!
this is decent, this is basically a 2/2/2 in 2 bodies (on the worst case scenario). The thing is, having stealth, this guy curves into unearthed raptor without having the risk of getting killed before, which them makes this guy values like 2/4/4 (worst case scenario again). Of course this is not instant value, but the way Lotus is looking, this is how they will play.
this card would be somewhat playable if it had 2 attack, but as it currently is.........
I understand what you mean, but 1/1 stat line means balanced outside of synergy. 2/1 is great stat line without having to depend on other cards....though again like everyone is saying, it depends on how good jade golem really is
Its a mantid, like Xaril the poisoned mind.
Perfect counter to Shaman's turn 2 Kappa
To be fair Tunnel Trogg will leave standard soon, most likely on January
LoE isn't leaving standard until Spring. We probably have another 4-5 months.
What is the point of this card? I thought they were pushing a tempo rogue?
This is for Golem rogue... Golem decks are definately going for Value > Tempo
This ability is Lotus' Gild core, for each three class.
Simply they try to make pieces on curve for each lotus class. Players will choose cards to play and cards don't play.
