Ten mana every turn just with one spell... Extraordinary!
Not that it'll be too impactful but I assume this works like all the other Trogg cards in that, since it works on spell cast, Counterspell and Spellbender will deny your opponent value while still triggering this guy's effect. I dunno, maybe that'll make this an auto-include in some kind of Secret/Arcane Giant Mage?
Its a bad card at first glance, but when you start thinking about synergies or combos, its a lot better.
ty for the 12-2 in brawl http://imgur.com/a/wuO93
this might see play in decks that run arcane giant.
Let's make mage's portal even much more better then any other portal. GET REKT, Druids with your new "best" cards 1/1 for 6 mana. And here we got 4/6 free-coin-giver for mages. Good job, BLizzard.
Amazing for arena, not good enough for constructive
It has a pretty solid stat line, and it can generate mana. I like it, but I wonder what its actual place is gonna be. We'll need to see how spell heavy the meta turns out to be to see if this has an effect on the game - I'm rating it playable.
In Arena I think this'll be really strong. It'll trade pretty well and if your opponent plays spells you can get bigger things out faster. That's solid.
This actually looks pretty good. It's just slightly below vanilla card stats for an effect that can really screw your opponent over if they can't play around it. Granted, it can also backfire if your opponent floods your hand with coins and mills your cards, but only a few decks could pull that off.
The main problem I see is that, bar Rogue, I don't see where this could fit. Maybe Mage with Flamewaker, but thtat's about it.
It seems to me like an okay card in a ramp style deck. If you can get this on the board early, your opponent will likely only be able to deal with it with a spell or two, if at all. The coins then refund the ramp it took to get it out / accelerates your mana for next turn.
Pillager is gone is standard dude.
It will be its replacment come the next expansion though
I assumed you weren't even talking about the standard rotation, and simply meant that it was a good follow-up on curve to play this next.
I'm with you, it's just everyone else replying to this comment seemed to think it was about Pillager getting replaced.
I Liked the Original effect
I like that this isn't just a Rogue card, it'll be interesting to see how other classes make use of having The Coin. My mind immediately says Mage and Druid might like this.
This should be rogue card with 5/6 stats.
Troggs have joined the mafia. No one is safe!
I believe this will be good in miracle decks, it's not stat-deficient.
