I'm running a pair of these in a tempo deck and that's exactly right. People don't want to kill this unless you don't have a weapon up, and if they choose not to, this fugly squid can do back-breaking damage with a nice Cold Blood applied in the mid-game, and will still buff your weapon when the opponent is forced to then use resources to kill it. If they can't, then they're just dead. It's not crazy powerful, but still a potent card.
How it isn't a pirate?... At least they do not tag it below the card art. Nice card btw :)
should've been a pirate but great value IMO
I guess Hearthpwn edited the card because it was not when they first posted it. Thank you
With Bladeflurry gone* Pirate-Rogue lost it's burst potential
Plus: Pirates weren't sticky enough to attack multiple times. And not threatening enough to force the opponent removing them immediately loosing tempo.
BUT: I love the card art, the card name. And yes: we got a 4 mana Pirate finally, which isn't killed by Fiery War Axe/Token+Abusive ... and many more. More Cards in the pool may make a tribe deck playable. I'll play it - just for the aestetique.
(* as facedamage card)
You clearly have not faced MY Pirate-Rogue. :P
I actually used to run blade flurry because of it's cost efficiency. But even headcrack could take it's place. :P
I barely even used it because of how fast I can burst down my opponent.

Put Squidface in you dek mon!
Gief you weepa pluz tu mon.
How does Blizzard make so many typos?
Hearthpwn remakes the cards, thats why there's many typos and some of the cards' art is out of focus.
So, this is what cost us our only remotely good board clear ? Wow.
GOD FORBID we could have played a 2 cards, 8 mana combo to deal 3 damage to a character, then 3 damage to all enemies, and summon a 4/4.
Definitly got a few nano-inches from something game breaking here, could have catapulted rogue from its Tier-3 ( IF NOT 2 ! IF.NOT.2 ! ) spot into actual viability.
Typo! "Give your weapon..."
This will help Blade Flurry at least!
Yes, but this in advance you can trade the minion to boost the weapon and then flurry. Saves us from having to burn a Deadly Poison
Does a better card name than this even exist?
