This card is to choose one as Bran is to deathrattle, except even stronger. This card will define the meta for sure. Rating Dr. Boom/10.
You mean battlecry, not deathrattle. ;)
Fixed: This card is to choose one as Bran is to battlecry
This card is very powerful, it only looses one stat and makes your choose one cards insane Nourish draw 3 cards and gain two mana crystals, Living Roots deal two dammage and summon 2 1/1s, Druid of the Flame 3 mana 5/5, Druid of the Claw 5 mana 4/6 with charge and taunt, ect. There are so many choose one cards that are OK either way that is is insane.
Be realistic unless your playing against a freeze mage or ultra aggressive face deck its a Sen'jin Shieldmasta if you play it on curve, which ironically are the two archetypes that dont care about what value you can get from this card. Every other class is going to make this there top priority and will most likely kill it before you play another card. Like what kripp said, its a noob trap because people think its going to stick on the board and continue to grant value oriented plays when 5 health is nowhere near enough to realistically allow for that. You most likely will have 1 chance to use the card winch means only a single card will have the effect applied and it needs to be 6 mana or less, unless you Innervate or Emperor Thaurissan. Is it a great card even on its own? Most definitely, its a strait up better Sen'jin Shieldmasta in most cases with a effect that can have a massive impact if you can set it up, but its not something you can just drop for tempo value like dr.7 so is restricted to the decks that can afford to play this card along side more specialized cards. For that reason it wont have room in a C'thun deck but might be a good fit in beast and ramp druid.
Does the twilight drake die if this is on the field when you summon keeper of the grove?
personally i think this card is pretty bad. if u think about it fandral is effectively a 2/5 for 5 mana. druid doesn't have very good choose 1 effects. there is no reason to play this card ever. :/
blizzard, please make better legendaries so i can pay to win again.
Looks like you forgot the Kappa
Anyone wondering about these guys? Druid of the Flame, Druid of the Saber, Druid of the Claw

So weird to see both Charge and Stealth on an official card.
Yup - ofc combination doesn't have much sense, but making it just a 3:2 with charge would actually make a difference. Now you can choose not to charge, and then stealth stays. I know, that it's just a regular 3:2+stealth form then, but maybe you've dropped Fandral Staghelm before for some other reason and that's why stealth has to stay on super-Druid of the Saber - so you won't HAVE TO charge and die/risk dying.
Holy shit those look awesome.
I believe that within the livestream where this card was revealed one of the devs referenced having 7 3/3 wisps from the new cards so i believe summons activate first then buffs after
Right now I am hoping that he becomes staple, but not meta-defining. Indeed, Fandral has huge potential, but I bet he won't survive after 1-2 combos in most cases. So, he would be a good tempo swing and a good meta-tech, but not more than that. Something in between of Sylvanas Windrunner and Brann Bronzebeard as for usage, but specific for druids?
Also, Fandral being balanced is always true in any expansion, because his balancing actually relies on choose one cards (Keeper and Ancient nerfs have proven this... they rather nerfed other cards than Fandral who is the one that applies to them).
In general, if something's broken in a combo, it is the base card, not the tech that applies to them in order to make the combo work.
So, if all I wrote here stays true ingame, I truly hope they will make Fandral a classic card in the future, or maybe swap Fandral's stats, cost and effect with Cenarius, who is a strong class legendary, but not as fun, class-typical and strategic (while hopefully not game-breaking) as Fandral Staghelm.
Ben Brode claimed that for minions like Druid of the Claw there was created their third form to combine effects despite transformation, and also card effects will work consecutively by card text, so, there's list of final forms for standart format:
Druid of the Claw : 5 mana 4/6 with taunt and charge
Druid of the Flame : 3 mana 5/5
Druid of the Saber : 3 mana 3/2 with charge and stealth
Living Roots : 1 mana deal 2 damage, then summon two 1/1 saplings
Mark of Nature : 3 mana give a minion +4/+4 and taunt
Mark of the Wild : 2 mana give your minions +1/+1, then summon a 3/2 panther
Raven Idol : 1 mana discover a minion, then discover a spell
Wrath : 2 mana deal 3 damage to minion, then deal 1 damage and draw a card
Keeper of the Grove : 4 mana 2/2 deal 2 damage to minion, then silence it
Nourish : 5 mana gain 2 mana crystals and draw 3 cards
Starfall : 5 mana deal 5 damage to a minion, then 2 damage to all enemy minions
Ancient of Lore : 7 mana 5/5 draw a card and restore 5 health
Ancient of War : 7 mana 10/10 with taunt
Cenarius : 9 mana 5/8 give your minions +2/+2, then summon two 2/2 treants with taunt
Feral Rage : 3 mana give your hero +4 attack this turn and 8 armor
Mire Keeper : 4 mana 3/3 summon a 2/2 slime and gain an empty mana crystal
Wisps of the Old Gods : 7 mana summon seven 1/1 wisps, then give your minions +2/+2
And you this? C'mon.
