WHERE ARE THE DRUID LEGENDARIES WHYYYYYYY
I am Malganis, i am turtle!
If it's a battlecry about the next spell cast this turn, it means it will be a 3-mana spell maximum (apart card cost reduced).
So all those combos below make no sense.
Did I miss something ?
You missed the text... but it's not that important anyway.
dude, is says on the card that you will spend health instead of mana, which means the remaining mana crystals are irrelevant, you can cast any spell, but you will lose health equal to its cost.
You should have answered your own question.
The game doesn't check how much mana you have left. It simply changes the cost of the spell. If the spell costs 4 mana (Hellfire, Shadowflame,) then you play Cho'Gall, those spells will cost 4 Health instead, allowing you to cast one of them. Once you cast a spell (or your turn ends) then the spells go back to costing mana.
Actually not that bad imo with some of the heavy mana removal cards Warlock has. It's nice with Siphon Soul,Shadowflame, Hellfire (A lil painful but health is a resource) and so on. In very slow matchups it can technically make a spell "Free" since health isn't as important at the time. In fast metas you'll probably get destroyed though, but who knows.
I see this card making high cost spells, namely DOOM!, actually be a little viable. Namely in Renolock, but still. Its synergy is incredible.
Play this into doom into double molten lol.
I'm not forgetting the combos it has with Siphon Soul or Shadowflame, but I just see those as main points that don't really need to be discussed. The obvious synergies with those cards will see play regardless of what deck this makes it into. I am just saying that the larger cost cards than seem a little unruley and risky/greedy can maybe see play. There might even be some instance where my mentioned combo is a dream scenario. All in all, very excited for this card and what it will bring to the table
Imagine: you spend 7 mana and 9 health to refill the hand and to wipe the table. If you are losing already, you will be dead. If not - one Twisting Nether is better.
This makes me think that molten giant is def getting a nerf to it.
Could Forbidden Flame, Forbidden Healing or Forbidden Shaping be triggered that way?
Yes. They will cost (0) Health instead of Mana, and then consume your remaining mana crystals for their effect as normal from that point on.
What guyatadesk said.
Unlike cards such as Molten Giant, Volcanic Lumberer, the mana cost of a Forbidden spell is not conditional to its text, meaning it will remain at 0, provided no cost modifications had occurred (ex. Loatheb).
If you have like 2 mana left, you will lose 2 health and the spell will activate it's effect. You still have 2 mana after.
It wouldn't matter. Warlocks can't use those spells.

In a rare occasion we need to know this? I'm talking in a realistic game. That shit just doesn't happen.
