This is going to be an amazing card if/when hunter can be a control deck. After GvG control hunter just barely didn't make the cut, it could crush most control decks, had a pretty fair chance against midrange, and got decimated by aggro. When I look at Acidmaw and Dreadscale I see 1 card that screams anti control and the other that screams anti face decks. Acidmaw is clearly the anti control card and has insane combo potential. Everyone keeps saying that this card has great combos on turn 10, but in a control deck you likely run Emperor Thaurissan meaning that it is far more likely that all of the following combos are turn 8 combos. Acidmaw + Dreadscale = clear the whole board except for a 4/2 and a 4/1 that will clear the board again next turn if they aren't killed. Acidmaw + Unleash the Hounds = kill everything on their board that doesn't have divine shield. Acidmaw + Powershot Kill 3 of your opponent's minions that are next to eachother. Acidmaw + Any minion that you already have on the board or that has charge = use any minion to trade up.
I think that this card has potential to be huge for hunter overall because hunter never had a way to mass remove a board of minions that have more than 1 health... This is that card.
I like the card and new mechanic but comparing it to other 4/2s in the game which cost 3 with varied effects is the effect on this thing really worth 7 mana?
It may usually be in a combo with other stuff but really might not be worth it alone.

This + Wild Pyromancer + any spell = 9-10 mana Twisting Nether.
Is it good though? No , probably not.
This is meant to be played with Dreadscale on turn 10. Besides that i dont see how this card can be good.
The mana cost on this one is too high for its flat stats... but then i think again that if it had cost less then it'd be broken IMO

That would be broken as hell, it's effect is extremely powerful and can be combo'd with a bunch of cards like any AoE (powershot), damage dealing battlecry (elven archer) and chargers (unleash the hounds).
The same could be said about equality but no one is complaining that that card is broken. The difference with this card is that it leaves a 4/2. And that wouldn't be "broken as hell"
Another difference is this can be used over multiple turns and if they don't have a way to remove this they will never get the board back.
Yeah, 3 is way too cheap and would allow for too many high value trades, it would create a 6 mana complete enemy board clear with unleash the hounds. On the other hand the consensus seems to be that this is a bad card given its cost. I honestly think that knocking it down to 6 would be sufficient, but 5 definitely would be. Perhaps the effect would be better as a spell. It would sure be an interesting board clear spell.
I know that. That will only happen 1% of the time. dealing 2 damage is nothing.
If they can't remove this, they should surely lose! :@
So first I thought that this card is insanely bad but than I thought, that this is supper taunt with hardcore removal options.
It works well with so many cards that it is insane. One thing that I would like to mention is that whenever another card leaves multuiple minions behind it builds power for this one. So simple snake trap or bear trap if activated may work like combo.
Here is the list of cards that will support this removal, all that I can think of.
MInions: Dreadscale, Savannah Highmane, Haunted Creeper, Steamwheedle Sniper, Elven Archer.
Immune: Stablemaster, Bestial Wrath .
Abilities: Powershot, Unleash the Hounds, Explosive Trap, Arcane Shot, Snake Trap, Quick Shot, Misdirection (when you think about it it does)
... and all weapons of course. So this card might be an amazing one and let players build really crazy decks around it with some nice synergy.
And it actually makes Ball of Spiders on turn 6 available xD and even good since your opponent doesn't know if you have the combo or not. So instead of laughing (turn 6 -> 3x 1/1 is kind of funny) he might be terrified and play no minions.
It synergize because your beast doesn't take damage but enemy minion does, so your board is more threatening to your opponent next turn. Also it is nice and interesting how one card can paralyze the board unless it is removed.
I really dont understand why hunter is getting two legendaries and every other class has one? how is that fair lol. itd be cool if there was a secret reveal for another legendary for each class coming up haha
