Trivia
- Dreadsteed was original destined for the Naxxramas Adventure as a Neutral Minion but due to an infinite combo with Warsong Commander, it was not included. (Source)
Deathrattle: At the end
of the turn, summon a Dreadsteed.
Crescendo himself summoned this steed, riding it to victory in the Grand Tournament. Wherever he rides, an army of riders ride behind him, supporting the legendary champion.

This card will create a lot of fun decks - whether they be very viable or not - I love it. Silence will be pretty sad but also quite a waste - especially if your're also running cards like sylvanas and twilight drakes.
Yeah, you don't want to put out Baron Rivondere and this card.
Why would you want to?
Besides if you can get 6 than play Malganis you've won
It's like Unleash the immortal hounds
The hate is real..
So beautifull art but...
What a waste.
WHy u gotta hate everything ?
its a good card
makes sure zoo decks always have a board
synergize well with zoo deck ,Mountain Giant
and its a demon, all demon cards are good with it. kill it gain health and it rsummons , with Sacrificial Pact
or use Power Overwhelming and the minion comes back
use Void Terror and still have another minion
stop hating and think
This is terrible in zoo. Power Overwhelming and Void Terror both have better targets in zoo, Sacrificial Pact is a shit card, and Mountain Giant has little to nothing to do with this card at all.
It might be better in slower, more control based Warlocks, but definitely not zoo.
my Bad , u are right
malganis a constant tradable 3/3
kelthuzad will cause you to some tons of these bad boys
can soak up random affects like boom bots and rag
can keep anima golem alive
take out the one health minons from hunter
free plus 1/1 for void terror
decent recomb target
KT? Just drop a Rivendare for the same effect!
i wonder if it was a beast and a hunter card, everyone would be like... OMG imba OP OP OP, more tool for f*kin huntards etc :p
xD
edit: on second thought hunter actually have they own version of warsong commander (the rhino) that would actually make this card op... lol
I think it's an interesting card since it has an infinite value potential. I feel it's like a wild growth for warlocks, here's my reasoning :
1. warlock's hero power doesn't affect the board state, he cannot ping low health minions, nor deny divine shields. This guy let's you do it once EVERY SINGLE TURN. He's like a mage hero power EVERY SINGLE TURN. I can't express it more than this : IT'S A GARANTEED 1 DMG EACH TURN FOR THE REST OF THE GAME!
2. He's an early investment for end game high value. 1-1 might not be impressive, but man, once he'll hit for the 8th time, he's a freakin giant. It's a bonus because since he's so little, your opponent won't waste anything on him = endless value. You won't ever have to waste cards to ping off low health minions/divine shields.
3. This card is an early loss of tempo. Yes, I admit, a HUGE loss of tempo. But warlock has incredibly powerful spells to gain the tempo back. Once it's done, this little horse starts cashing in some real value. That's why I compare it to wild growth. You waste a turn, but after this tempo loss, you can make up for it and even more! Great potential.
4. The combo is real! You ALWAYS have a target for buff spells, you ALWAYS have a target for void terror, you ALWAYS have an insta buff for malganis, you ALWAYS have a board even after board wipes. Yes, it's a 1-1, but as I said earlier, after a few turns, that 1-1 shows his true nature.
I don't say he's incredibly strong. I just feel like in the right deck, this thing is MUCH MORE than an overpriced wisp like everyone is saying...
People who are comparing him to a Wisp are barely make it to 20 each season, have never played another TGC, or are at a minimum short sighted.
This card will create balance problems if not in this set then another.
Dreadsteed + Baron Rivendare = KreyGasm
I don't mind non-competitive cards if they are fun and can be used in cool ways. But I am struggling to think of cool and fun uses for a recurring 1/1.
sir you made my day :)
What is the point of printing bad cards? Like, would it really be too broken if it summoned two Dreadsteed instead?
Yes, yes it would be broken as hell if it summoned two Dreadsteed instead, since then each of those Dreadsteed would then summon two more and so on and so on, that is broken as all hell if u ask me
In Magic the Gathering apart from cheating mana as the first most powerful ability in the game. Minion or spell replication was always a close second usually assisting in some sort of infinite combo. Eventhough the two games are not entirely the same because of different life totals starts and whatnot a lot of the same values exist in comparison with each game.
With replication and repeated value a strong second like mentioned earlier on this card is only bad at first glance and is probably actually going to become a "sleeper" meta card dependant upon the printing of the other Warlock cards in TGT.
The real value in this card other than its deathrattle ability is the fact that it is also a demon which makes it easier to synergize with the majority of your class cards and even some neutral ones previously printed.
That being said all it is going to take is one wrong miss-step in card development to make this OP
Simply put the potential for this cards "power creep" is well above 9,000.

I don't know why people are hating this card so much. Its like a free mage hero power the rest of the match when you play it.
