oh god lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTgFtxHhCQ0
Bad.
I really like this idea with comparing minions, it looks strong. I feel that new competitive decks will be created with those high cost minions and cheap removal.
Well I was excited for the whole inspire, hero power mechanic, but it looks like the theme of the grand tourney is just more RNG and getting to see your opponent's deck so you don't have to think. I really regret spending 50 bucks on this crap.
if you use feign death and you win the challenge, then it goes back in your hand.
"That didn't quite hit the mark..."
oh look 400 dust
Only reason to play this card is for the art. I'm sure it looks awesome golden, too bad the card is trash.
lol reallly really good aganist zoo
If you run a deck with many high cost minions, why would you want to play this bad stats card again?
This in a mage deck with two molten giants and secret for two copies on death.
Eventually I have 3 or more skeleton knights that never die since you cant beat 20 mana minions.
Stack removal and I win with neverending skeleton knights.
Simple and perfect plan.
New skeleton knight meta.
if the stats on this one was just a little better ... just a little .. it would've been one of my fav. cards .. but of course .. blizzard have to make cool cards suck too hard to ever see play
This card sucks so hard. I haven't seen the golden animation, but I'm sure I love it.
if you loose the joust this card was an expancive Salty Dog if you win you have to respent 6 mana to replay it back
i don't think this will see much play
maybe in some fucky warlocks with Shadowflame and a bunch of giants this would be fun
I was thinking just the same thing with the Salty Dog comparison. I've got to give the artist high marks for this one, too.
Also, Horuse, you might want to edit your post, if you ever see this. You have a -really- nasty typo on 'funky'.
oh look its a bad malorned that neutral.
malorne at least has good stats for its cost kinda
Except in most cases you never get Malorne back
BEFORE WE ALL PANIC AND SAY THIS IS TOO SLOW, the Joust mechanic is probably Blizzard's strategy to slow the game down. If Joust cards are strong enough to contest aggro, high Mana cards will be played more and cards like this will easily find a place. I don't know if this will happen, but neither does anyone so I am going to stay very positive about this card, seems fun.
After thinking really hard about how to maybe use this guy, I could see him in Handlock. Generally you're going to have taunts on the board, so his health won't matter much, and he can be played with Shadowflame. Plus he'll almost certainly go back to your hand, which is good for Twilight Drakes and Mountain Giants. Still would probably play Sylvanas over him.
Open pack... LEGENDARY!!!!... dangit, gotta wait another 20 packs for a useful legendary.
