I feel like this is supposed to be Black Knight in the lore, but they already had him in the original set. There is no minion in Northrend called "Skeleton Knight"
Was wondering how WoW would find a way to include TBK.
I think this could work well with handlock. A card that stays stuck in your hand for your Mountain Giant / Twilight Drake. If it gets BGH'd, theres a chance to bounce this back to your hand and if it doesn't, you wouldn't care because other giants are waiting to be played. It's like a recurring threat balanced by rng.
I just noticed that it says "return this to your hand" and not "return this minion to your hand". could that mean that it will retain any buff applied to it before death?? that would be super cool and will make this legendary from trash to good maybe awesome. the same text is found on Rogue Legendary as well. Suppose you applied Mark of the wild +4 hp + taunt, and the enemy bgh it. will return to your hand with the +4 hp and taunt??
I don't even want this to return to my hand!
Nah, I think I'll stick with the superior value of a Salty Dog. Thank you Blizzard for giving me a chance to say that!
You have been spoobed by the spooby skellinton!
They should just add "Undead" at the bottom (Minion Type) and release the death knight soon after!!
I think this may be playable if you run enough taunts.
This card is so broken in control warrior mirrors, basically who ever wins the joust wins the game.
BGH bait? Win joust. BGH?
Play games with no RNG then.
It's called fun.
'Tis a shame, the art for the card looks amazing. ):
Even Hemet has his uses sometimes. This card is just straight up shit.
An okay minion in Druid or a control type deck. Really sucks if you lose the first time though....
Oh its king Leoric.
Return to hand? It should revive on the spot.
A BGH will kill it twice doubt it'll see play
I should be so happy should an opponent waste not 1 but 2 BGH's on him. Much less have both in his hand. This is a great card in a taunt/control deck.
I'm not sure what to think of this new clash-like mechanic.
(For those of you who haven't played Magic: the Gathering, there was an old mechanic called clash, where each player would reveal the top card of their deck, and you win the clash if your card costs more.)
On one hand, it feels like HS is moving closer to MTG, which I more or less support, but on the other hand, the mechanic itself feels like it's moving away from the plain-and-simple card game that was the original HS, before Naxx was released. I feel like this mechanic will be pushing players to have higher-cost minions in deck, which is good for a control player like me, but it just feels...I dunno...weird.
OK. I'm done now. Just needed to get that out.
I just dont like it because it reveals too much info to you from your opponent. It gets rid of a lot of the fun in the game and strategy. It should just show a blank card and a mana crystal with the mana cost of the creature. That would actually be kinda cool
Two words: Gang Up
