Turn 8, 96 Damage
Mage can play this card on turn 9 and hit the enemy's face for 24 the next turn ))
someone explain to me how this is not the most overpowered card in the game. by like 5000* over second place?
Notice it only has 6 damage at first, so cannot be targeted immediately by bgh, but yeah the list is pretty long haha
Turn 10: Play 2x Call Pet, get this + Tundra Rhino, play both, use 2x Arcane Shot, Elven Archer, etc. to deal 26 damage.
GIVE GVG ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
This guy is downright terrifying... lol. I'm very glad the hunter has new options for deck type, though this can get out of control way too fast. I am almost wishing this guy had 7 attack so he would be vulnerable to BGH. He will draw out hard removal asap, but many of them will already have targets. The workaround will of course be damaging him first then BGH.
This may make the use of explosive trap go down for fear of pumping this up the turn it hits the board.
Or maybe not, as the only decks that seem to play explosive trap are face hunter and they hope to win by turn 7ish.
I like this card allows hunters to not just be all about the early game it gives late game presence as well
Here is your friendly advice from James, if you see a Tundra Rhino do all in your power to remove it. You're welcome.
I can already see devastating combos with this one. Tundra Rhino pre-placed, this, Mad Bomber/Elven Archer/Arcane Shot = pretty much guaranteed KO.
This card is nuts! Powerful! Combo with Tundra Rhino and Arcane Shot or Elven Archer.
Another plus is that you an have this card for free thanks to Webspinner!
This and mad bomber or madder bomber gives it a chance to have double attack. Or play this on turn 7 and on turn 8 use:
Arcane Shotx2
Houndmasterx1
I'm assuming "doubling" would double buffs as well? For example, if an animal companion was played on it, and then Gahz was injured, would it buff up to 16 damage? If so, that's pretty insane if the opponent can't do anything.
This is an interesting card. I look forward to seeing how it could be used. Personally my first thought is use one of the mid range hunter decks that still can put out a ton of aggro but also has cards like Highmane and bealchers in it; If you cut 1 highmane and replace it with with card then what you end up with is a card that costs 1 more mana that highmane, is far harder to remove then a highmane ( with highmane you can kill the body with only 5 damage and then you have the 2/2s but there is a fair amount of removal that can take out 5 health in 1 shot as where this card having 9 health makes is almost always demand multiple cards be traded into it), and if they can't remove it in 1 shot then it punishes them severally. I think this card will see use but not as a finisher or as a OTK card but rather as a card that regains board control/eat up removal. The real question will be if this card does a better job then highmane since 1 mana can be huge for a hunter.
Here's hoping to see a the return of the Mid-range hunters! =D
So .. i guess all other's classes will gain another legendary.
this card poops all over grommash and gurubashi berserker
Over Berserker, but not Grom, who still stands to be a great finisher for Warrior with charge. This card only has better potential than Grom with its attack power, but has to rely on staying on the board for more than a turn unless you have a Tundra Rhino out.
Jesus this is ridiculous. o.O
A different kind of Frothing Berserker ... on steroids.
