Now THIS is a fun Legend! It's one of those legendaries that really makes itself noticed when it hits the table, and not in an "Well crap, it's THAT guy again - Concede time!" sort of way; play this, and all of a sudden the field looks completely different, and both players have to examine the situation as its changed. The fact that he makes it possible for Mage, Druid, Warlock, and Priest to consistently have weapons available to them creates crazy, unique situations with their own synergies and decisions. Maybe I'll put this guy in Warlock to buff Floating Watcher, or in Druid to get a crazy Savagery.
Strategically, it costs 2 mana for essentially a symmetrical effect, but there are plenty of things you can do to turn the odds in your favor. Perhaps one could run 2 Acidic Swamp Ooze and a Harrison Jones since they can target your opponent's Blingtron weapon if nothing else. Or it could be played with Annoy-o-Tron to resist whatever weapon the opponent gets; it's quite funny to see a Druid with a Weapon staring down the Annoy-O-Tron with a hero power that can't actually ping off the divine shield.
Bit too inconsistent to be competitively viable, but this guy sure can make fun games.
got golden :D
(Player plays blingtron 3000 vs a warrior)
(players get light's justice)
(opponet gets doomhammer)
opponet "my thanks"
(opponet plays 2 heroic strikes then deals 20 damage to face)
"well played"
Is there reference to Portal in flavor text i see?
Been doing wonders for me in my Mech Mage deck. Works well with Water Elemental Reynad's style. It's really fun
I play him in Mech Mage too. Always a hoot.
I put this guy in my (non-competitive) Aggro Priest deck along with ooze. When he gives you a good weapon it's pretty fun.
I want this card just for the animation alone.
Please stop giving me Light's Justice, and my opponents Doomhammer
Blingtron + Harrison combo=No presents for you!
True. though at a 10 mana combo you better make it count!
most weapons have more than one charge, so it's still a decent turn 4(with coin)/5 or 5/6 combo
You hope that he gets a Doomhammer so that you get 8 cards. Most of the time though.. You only draw 2-3 cards. Which is somewhat like Varian Wrynn.
I wish it wouldn't keep giving my opponents Gorehowl..
Giving enemy Ogre Warmaul is the best value!
Play him then play Harrison Jones :D
You get a weapon and you get a weapon.
Everybody gets a weapon.
I run this combo in my druid deck, and while the surprise with the HJ follow up is gone, it never ceases to turn the game around for me -- especially if you get lucky and Blingtron gives your opponent a weapon with 3 or 4 charges. He also works great if you play him behind some taunts (since they have to take face damage clearing them if they don't have any other options).
2 mana more than Spider Tank for an effect that could backfire as easily as it works. Perhaps a little better than I'm giving it credit for, since you get to attack first, but I'm not using this thing anytime soon. Still, it's a really cool card.
I tested. If you use this card with the Druid, the hero power give you +1 atack and don't destroy the weapon
