Update 6:20 PM EDT: The #TGTLegendary card reveal unlock has hit 100%. This means we will see both cards on Wednesday.
New Card Reveal: Master of Ceremonies
A new card has been revealed from the last round of card voting. Check out Master of Ceremonies below!
New Card Vote Info
Update: Both cards will be revealed Wednesday regardless of the vote!
The next card vote is between Rogue and Druid Legendary minions! Ben says to vote for the Druid minion, but this is another round of #TGTLegendary voting, so both cards will be revealed if enough tweets go out.
If you have a twitter account, help us out and go tweet to get both revealed on Wednesday.
Quote from Ben BrodeWhen the next vote starts - please... vote DRUID. You will be tempted to vote against Druid. It will be difficult. You must persevere.
The Grand Tournament
Check out more details on The Grand Tournament, including a list of all the currently released cards! TGT launches this month!
Blizzard REALLY needs to announce the date TGT will go live. Some of us need some advance notice to arrange to have the day off!!
According to Kripp, it's 99% likely to be August 24th or the immediate time surrounding that date.
What is this based on?
If you change your Windows clock to August 24th you can try to open your packs. The game will freeze when you try to, but you can drag the pack around the screen. This Windows clock trick has been used for Diablo 3 before, and some other Blizzard games, so it's really likely it is indeed going to be on August 24th/25th
Eh, Master of Ceremonies... potentially powerful, but how many decent Spell Power Minions are there you can play on turn 2? The only Spell Power minions anyone ever plays are Skeleton-In-A-Dress (Bloodmage Thalnos), Azure Drake, and Malygos (and Shaman Air totems) so unless they release some new ones in the expansion the odds of being able to get a 3rd turn 6/4 are incredibly low (if you play a 2nd turn Thalnos he's almost certainly going to die instantly, particularly against Druid or Mage). Might work, but dicey. Still, even late-game a 3-mana 6/4 is nothing to sneeze at, so she's pretty good.
Regarding the new legendaries, it's hard to vote against Anub'Arak, he's one of my favourite characters (he's my absolute favourite hero in Heroes of the Storm, although I don't actually play that any more). But I'm physically incapable of voting against sexy monstergirls, so Aviana gets the nod, completely irrespective of what Brode says.
The twitter vote hashtag thing is already at 90%! Let's do this!
Just incase I trusted his words and chose the Druid card.
Wow. Really wanna know who's behind Anub'Arak's art. He looks badass.
I'd say he's still trustable. He just wanted us to see a minion that would make Spell Damage hype up again.
Has no one learnt? Take what Ben Brode says and then vote for THE OTHER CARD.
Didn't Brode tell us (until this vote) to pick the card that didn't win? So what was there to learn before?
I'm a fan of Master of Ceremonies. Definitely a good arena pickup if you're running a +spell power deck. 3 mana for a 6/4 is fine with me.
50% VS 50%
Anub'arak vs Avianna...
FOR NERUB
yea there's no way i can vote against anub'arak, sorry harpy chick
Rip Arthas
Has anyone else noticed that Blizzard has not revealed a single Paladin card for TGT? The only logical conclusion is that there are no Paladin cards. Sorry Paladin players (oh wait, I'm one...)
They always leave paladin for last, for god knows what reason.
So, we have a Master of Cerimonies (MC), now we just need a Disk Jockey (DJ), a Break Boy (BBoy) and a Writer to start the hip-hop movement in Hearthstone. Embrace the four elements
