Considering the fact that the shaman minion is common, it usually means that they are gonna add something way more overpowered as epics and/or rares. Unless they suddenly changed their design perspective, which I really doubt (in such a short time).
Jaraxxus: I've been replaced by a more powerful legendary! >:(
Al'Akir: That must be nice... :'(
Ghostbusters called - they want their IP back.
The worst part about Muckmorpher, is that the tremendous artwork on this card will go away once you play it. I love the artwork on this card!!
Well, just like for Whizbang the Wonderful, it is rare but not impossible to get it on board anyway.
just change your homescreen to be muckmorpher
Shudderwock could get VERY interesting with this Battlecry proc'd.
Actually, if I recall, shudderwock and tess greymane we're both given the Yogg Clause of "if this minion's battle cry destroys, silences, transforms or otherwise removes itself from the board, the battle cry sequence ends", so transforming itself might be decidedly uninteresting in shudderwock shaman. But I can't say for sure, gotta play test the cards to find out.
Tess was given that clause and immediately retracted because of backlash. Because Blizzard they didn't want to consider it a nerf like they did with Yogg Saron and weren't willing to refund the full dust value. In a way, I'm happy that they reversed the nerf because I like Tess a lot more without the clause than I would have liked the 1600 dust. ^^
Shudderwock has the Yogg treatment and if it transforms it stops. Sadly, this does not combo with shudderwock in any way.
Fixed that for you.
Walking Fountain + Earthen Might = double profit ;")
Control Shaman coming back!
Possible wombo combo with this guy transforming into a 4-4 charge windfury Al'akir + 2x rockbiters serving 20 face damage at 9 mana. But of course, many other possibilities.
Malygos Shaman just got even stronger.
Holy shit, these are potentially amazing cards.
Muckmorpher transforms into the minion, so on the same turn as your 4/4 zilliax, malygos, Al'Akir, etc, you can Ancestral Spirit or Bog Slosher it back to your hand.
At a stout 8 health, Walking Fountain becomes "do 8 damage up to two minions and heal 8 life", and if it sticks around or you go Ancestral Spirit, it just gains more value. I'm seeing Barnes or Primordial Drake effectiveness here. And it's an Elemental, if that's still a thing.
FeelsGoodMan
Bog Slosher isn't a thing that works
... what?
Walking Fountain would've been so good with Corpsetaker if it was still in standard
Muckmorpher can be good in that Reincarnate-based Shaman deck in wild.
and Walking Fountains looks VERY nice in Arena.
