Free Arachnid Quarter Ends Sept. 30th
The Naxxramas launch event, which grants free access to the Arachnid Quarter, will be ending on September 30th. If you've got friends who still haven't unlocked it, or maybe you'd like to unlock it for yourself in another Hearthstone region, you've got another month to do so!
Quote from BlizzardThe Curse of Naxxramas launch event is ending soon! This means you have until September 30 at 11:59 p.m. PDT to log in to Hearthstone and unlock the Arachnid Quarter for free. Versus Series: Fire vs Wuaschtsemme
Jotto's back with another episode of Versus Series. Today, Ace Breaker's own Fire takes on LuckyDraw's Wuaschtsemme in a best of three, deck elimination format. Check out the matches below, along with their decklists (decklists will spoil the results)!
Naxxramas Speedrun
If you needed a reason to go through Naxxramas again, why not attempt a speedrun? SpiritFryer currently has the top record for Normal Naxxramas, clocking in at 40 minutes and 9 seconds. Can you do it faster? Currently no attempts have been logged for Heroic, but there must be plenty of worthy challengers out there. Check out SpiritFryer's speedrun below, in addition to his decklists.
If you're going to attempt a speedrun, make sure you read the rules before you begin!
Adventure do not yield gold so at least for me there is no reasonto go back there again. Got the cards, got the heroic back, thats it, waiting for new cards/content.
for it to give gold would be stupid everyone would run it all the time because itd be so easy
I still can't beat 5 of the heroic challenges with my budget decks. Loatheb is so annoying.
Speedrun seems fun but I am not going to attempt it any time soon!
Speed runs are pretty interesting, 1 shotting every boss seems pretty good.
Heroic would be the true test! Honestly I think with 9 decks though it would be a bit challenging, I made different decks for pretty much every fight with slight modifications.
Heroics are so reliant on good deck draws and mulligans that it's more of a dice roll than skill-based.
On normal mode, a proper deck for a particular boss is going to smash that boss 80% of the time. It's less of the crap shoot that heroic is.
Are people that bored to replay Naxx for the sake of a speed-run?
I think that speed run just proves the obvious: hunters are BS.
Have you checked the site with the speed-runs? There are currently four people on the highscore list - and it is normal mode afterall.
If that proves anything, then that hunter is good aggro deck for normal modes.
Yep, heroic are on whole another level of rng, even if you have optimal deck for said encounter.
There are enough spider related puns in that Blizzard post to last me until next year.
And I'm afraid I have to say it. I'm a fan of speed runs, but I have no desire to watch a 40 minute Naxx run.
The speedrunners will be set when Nozdormu takes the meta by storm.
I hope that happens! :D Noz is a hoot to play with in a randuin deck.
Ha! First time I played Noz in beta my 15 second timer kicked in immediately. I then sat there and watched as my opponent took a full 60 seconds to play his turn.
Its actually just animation delay since each animation 'pauses' the timer, so when you queue up your action for the turn and then hit the 'End Turn' button (or just let it run its course) your opponent also faced the same thing.
