Discuss This Week's Brawl
Head on over to our Brawl Forums to discuss this week's brawl in the dedicated forum thread.
thank you
Finally did it a few mins ago. Damn, this week I could hardly win any match here.
First time I got salty from Brawl mode
the shaman deck is incredibly broken
Wow that's a lot of downvotes. I like the card. I prefer to lower health either way. But to get armor in trade is better. It can power stones or help your Demons. Its wonderful but it only works as a center card and not a MEH let's put it in anyways
Dunno why you got downvoted, the Priest Deck is utter and complete trash. It can do some neat and powerful things if you survive to turn 9 or 10.... but it does next to nothing to help you get there. It's an exercise in being completely ran over again and again.
We added Deathrattle Rogue as an archetype only recently, I guess it wasn't there yet when the deck was created. We also only had N'Zoth Hunter before this expansion.
On a related note: if anyone thinks we're missing an archetype that can't really fit under anything already existing, let us know and we'll add it.
+1 on "Jesus Blizzard, learn to do these before you release the xpac".
Unbearable. I want to do something with my collection in a whacky format. Feels like we haven't gotten one of those in a while
They always screw this up how long has been since the expac it should of been the brawl last week instead of brawlinasim
All decks are nice to play except the shaman one, which is terrible
Instead of this brawl they should give Whizbang for free. This card is perfect for first look at new expansion and future expansions as well. And from marketing point as well, coz you will play rarely play same deck (1/18). So if you see cards or archetypes you like, you will craft them after to play constantly. Its like free trial, which is very good thing. I crafted it and Im pretty satisfied. Winrate with it is not even that bad
too late
rogue deck absolutely insane. 5 - 0 with it
I suspect they do these brawls after the expansion has dropped because they want people to focus on playing their new collections (and likely buying new packs). I understand it would be nice to try and play the new cards, but they don't want a ton of people playing the brawl instead of playing (and buying) their own new cards.
DO. THESE. A. WEEK. BEFORE. OR. THE. WEDNESDAY. AFTER. THE. EXPANSION. RELEASES.
The Demonology Zoo deck has to be my favorite. Though, I would make a few modifications to it. For example, Crystallizer can go. It's a cool card on paper, but in practice it's kinda useless. It's ultimately just a 1/3.
Nethersoul Buster
What's wrong with it? I see no difference between the deck listed here and the recipe proposed in the Hearthstone client.
Fixed. Nowadays Blizz updates previous recipes with new cards so they bamboozled us by picking the older one here. Or maybe they gave Priest two totally new recipes, I haven't been following those too closely.
OK, so I've found the date of all the recipe Brawls in the wiki and summarized it here. (Yes, I know, the TGT Brawl wasn't really a recipe Brawl like this week: recipes didn't exist back then, there were only 2 decks available, you got one and your opponent the other one at random.)
(Fun fact: the first wing of One Night in Karazhan was released on August 11, 2017. Yes, that's right, the very next day after the Old Gods recipe Brawl...)
Blizzard seems to have more or less settled on a schedule of releasing the Brawl two weeks after the expansion, even though I have never seen anybody give positive feedback about it and everyone loved the peek-into-TGT Brawl one week before the release. I really don't understand why they stick to it... *sigh*
