I want to vote for the Permafrost totem, not sure why it didn't make the cut. What exactly defines the "community's favorites"?

For me, Frost Whelpling is my clear choice.

While many of the other cards are extremely well designed, this card seems the most to be a card that would actually make it's way into the game.

What people seems to misunderstand is that Freeze Shaman lacks a clock mechanism to kill your oppononent.

Most of the freeze shaman cards are crap, that is true, but some are not that bad. Avalanche is not a bad card, and you can build an anti aggro deck using freezes and pyromancer. There's little to no reward for freezing, thou: Moorabi is a worse version of Wilfred Fizzlebang, and Icebreaker is both slow and kills you.

The biggest mistake by Blizzard was to compare Moorabi to Gadgeztan Auctioneer, instead  of Wilfred Fizzebang, when deciding the amount of stat per cost and effect. They probbly thought that making him like stat/cost like Lyra was too strong, considering what happened to Lyra, and they opted for this

Regarding these cards, only few of them are worth saving. Durotan can summon a bunch of Earth Elementals if the stars align, but even then, is still worse than Gul'Dan.  Hailstorm is a trap for players, you might think it's good but it's not. Using 2 of them to deal 3 damage to ALL minions ( even yours) is crap. Icy Crystal lacks one core thing that playable legedanry weapon have, it doesn't work by itself. Frost Wolf is okay, i guess, but it doesn't boost the freeze compared to other archtypes, if anything it makes Maelstrom Portal even more boring. 

Chief Durotan got my vote.  Not only a cool effect, but actually looks like a card that Team 5 would consider printing.

I really liked Chief Durotan. Seems like a card to build your deck around and could possibly give life to the Frozen Shaman archetype.

A few notes.
Icy Encasing feels like a 0 mana card, and Ice Age seems like a worse Frost Nova. 

Hibernation is too weak

A Minion unfreezes at the end of your turn if you don't attack with it, it's a 1 mana draw 2 at the end of your turn in 99% of the time you'll play it. It's op, not too weak.

Amazing cards all of them but Cold Brew is the best imo!

There is a lot of good idea here !

But, the Frost Whelpling is common ? don't you imagine the potentials combo with shaman ?

I am going to be picky (puns with "cool" intended):

- Glacial Skin has supreme art (the best by far), but it is a warrior card, and i'm biased against warriors, sorry...

- Hibernation is so damn cool, but the theme (seasons and stuff) is more for Druid than for Hunter, imo (i would vote for it if it was Druid).

- Durotan should be "Chieftain", and the art doesn't give him justice. The card text is cool tho (i would probably craft it).

- Ice Age instead is maybe expensive, art is not very original but coherent, theme and card texts fit very well.

Ice Age is my winner.

Would be funny when Chief durotan played his Voice reaction like "Son, i disappoint".

Ice age is underpowered, really bad compared to frost nova...

Yup, freezing board of no-hunter opponent is so underpowered
