Treasure in the Catacombs is This Week's Brawl!
The Catacombs are so close you can taste them! Race with your opponent to complete the quest giving both players a chance at awesome treasure!
Trivia
- This is a brand new brawl!
- The Quest Mechanic from Journey to Un'Goro is used with a brawl-only quest card - the first of its kind!
- This brawl rewards you with a Kobolds and Catacombs card pack!
How it Works
- No need to create a deck this week, just pick a class and get a random deck!
- Journey to the Catacombs is placed on both sides of the field at the start of the game.
- The quest summons the same Master Chest you see from Marin the Fox.
- When the quests complete, a new one spawns in its place. Infinite Treasure!
- If you play the 7th minion which spawns the Chests, your opponent's chest spawns damaged at 0/4.

The Warlock deck is soooo bad against Priest... like... they even play the decks? The priest deck silenced 2 treasures and all the Warlock could do is discard cards and do self-damage HAHAAHAHHAHAHA
Ok... the decks are randomized every new game... and thats even worse since I got Patches in a Pirateless-Priest deck together with Twin Emperor in the same Cthunless-Priest deck... Stop adding RNG to this game ffs... there is no challange or fun for such bad RNG
Thats why it was given for free.. because its a fun legendary card for everyone.
this brawl is really fun when you end up with total board control between stealing their chest and constantly opening yours while spamming them with giant legendaries from all the loot you get I played all my games as rogue
As usual with this kind of brawls tempo is king so rogue was my go to class since even if you get shitty hand your hero power acts like 2 drop.
I love coin flip simulator, such a fun game.
All incan say is that the one who goes first usually have a tremendous advantage as long as you can play minions each turn.
I haven't lost a single game where I went first, andnonlh won 1 when I went second due to him not having anything on turn 1 and 2.
If you don't play minions as second, the first players goes far ahead, and as long as he too can play cards he is bound to gets to bash the 0/4 chest. And then you as the second player is almost certain to have to spam minions or removal not to lose. But with the treasure the opponent have you just makes it so you feed hin the next 0/4 chest aswell.
That have been the case of each and every match I've played.
At first I didn't like this brawl, but after a few games it became fun. Paladin is the way to go imo. Although, there are some serious synergy issues with the decks ie. duplicates with kazakus, spiteful smith with non-weapon classes etc
Well. That was boring.
...seriously. what a bunch of pointless garbage.
Another RNG Brawl. Boring.
It's a fun brawl to replay for quests, but that's it. (One game I got 4 goblets and when I was at fatigue, I got the wand!!!) It involves some strategy, but it's more fun for new players than more experienced ones.
Captain Blackhearth from HOTS likes this :D
One of the worst brawls ever.
Priests, priests everywhere
Strange. I played 6 games, and for all 6 games my opponent was Priest. I know the decks are random but for the very first match he had Kazakus, Raza, Velen, and Lyra (No Shadowreaper luckily, but at that point I was already losing :) )
i didn't see a single priest
Paladins, paladins everywhere...
Seems good to wait on the 7th minion
It's treasures time!
RNGstone strikes again
the decks are randomized each time
