From the unseen concepts built early in Hearthstone’s development to the hundreds of beautiful fantasy illustrations that have captured players’ imaginations, this volume will show readers the art of the game in breathtaking detail. The book also tells the story of how Hearthstone came to be, growing from a small-team project to the worldwide success that it is today with more than 50 million players.
Do we get a special card back?
i wonder how many common duplicates it will have.
pricey
Hahaha, so 3 expansions per year is not enough and they will milk additional 50 bucks from fans for artworks that are already in the game on cards that you pay for (and pretty much every other company release full artworks of card FOR FREE). My god, blizzard economic department is worth any salary they pay them, fucking brilliant guys, will sell anything they want to fanboys.
Have you ever bought an art book before? It's not just artwork that you already see, but also concept art, design processes, and behind-the-scenes information. This isn't a new trend for Blizzard, either; the original World of Warcraft TCG had an art book.
That is a below average price for a book of this size. Most art books go for waaaaay more than that.
I'd like to buy the book but isn't 45,- kinda overpriced..?
Ofcourse they put a lot of work into the artwork and concept art but after all they're just lying around there now, the only extra work it takes now is to just scrape it all together?
I'd rather spend that money on more packs and maybe craft some pretty golden cards.
Yowzah!
I can tell you there will be rarities and not everyone will get all artworks, just like when you preorder 50 packs for expansion 4Head
Better to have some Jaina's nudes.
But but... what about Gul'dan?
Guys and your hilarious comments, thank you for my day)
You know, it takes a lot of time to make one art for card so it won't look like "poop". And if smbd gave their time to draw it their work should be appreciated eg. by publishing it in an artbook. I guess that's why Blizzard is making this book, earning money is secondary purpose.
All the butthurted by our jokes fanboys here are like:
Ahhhhh, these lovely haters :D If you are not interested in this, how about keeping your fingers away from your keyboard and enjoy Easter instead?
will this explain why Tyrantus has such shitty art?
