Dean is a Game Designer on the final design team, focusing on testing and balancing new cards, making sure they're fun, trying to predict what decks they will go in and what the meta will look like. He also plays a lot of Arena! He's also very active on Twitter and Reddit, often responding to questions from the community.

You must be a millennium. You've been playing a game for free for three years and you complain about not being able to play in ranked. LMAO. Dude, get a job, spend some money and buy some cards. Blizzard isn't making this game for freeloaders, they are making it to make money.
Why is there no function within the game to report players for abusive behaviour? I believe that the fact there is no mechanism in place to report players who decide to be abusive towards you is a major flaw in this game, because I am sure everyone has experienced, at one time or another, someone adding you as a friend only to blast you with insults. To me this is unacceptable and I would like to know why this hasn't been addressed.

Oh I wasn't aware of that. It would be better to have it in game though, no?
Solution: Don't accept friend requests from random opponents, unless you want to troll them. For my part, whenever someone adds me as a friend after I trash them completely, I accept and say "well played", and then just keep typing "well played" into chat until they get tired of it and delete me ;)
Is there a chance to reduce RNG effect in game ?

Have you ever considered to reduce the cost of the card when they rotate to standard? To allow more fun deck

Is there a possibility for new game modes in the future? What about expanding on certain Tavern Brawls like All-Star Squad and Boss Battle Royale and making them permanent modes?
Arena offering card bonus is game defined important factor. But most people don't know how odds offered specific card in Arena game. I think this is problem. Spell 2x offering bonus, also new expansion bonus, and class card offering bonus, and specific two card 0.5x adjusting. So complicated.
Team5 can be development more simple Arena. If You think 2x Spell offer is better for game, You can just ban a bunch of minion cards. For example 19 minions and 1 spell in offer pool to Odds is 5% but 9 minions and 1 spell in game. Offer odds is 2x 10%. It's much more simple elegant solution. Also Newest expansion offering bonus can implements same way, cut old cards and add all newest expansion cards. And class card offering bonus too. Just cut neutral cards. I think this is much better for Arena games.

How does Team 5 decide which Warcraft Character is worth to be printed as card? I was hoping for Maximilian of Northshire to be the new paladin legendary. Why didn't he make the cut into the set?
( I really like Sunkeeper Tarim but Maximilian has so many funny quotes and a nice story ^^ )
What would you say to those who consider cards like Jade Idol and Swashburgler to be bad card design? What is the team's mindset in creating cards like this?
